“Very clean and cozy. There were plenty of activities both inside and out to keep us occupied.Kitchen was stocked with everything we could need to cook whatever we brought with us. Spices, coffees and teas were readily available. Children really enjoyed the kayaks, puzzles, loft and bunkhouse.”

“This was such a fun experience. My husband and I had a road trip up the east coast. We aren't big campers and this was a great way to get a bit more of a rustic experience without a tent. But yes, you take a canoe to the island. It takes 5 minutes. No electricity, so be prepared for a camp stove and electric lanterns. Loons added a lovely evening sound track. Google map directions worked fine. Mexican restaurant was good. Took a day trip to Camden to hike and have lunch which was lovely. So fun……

The house itself was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing vacation. The views of the lake from the deck were stunning, and we spent hours just sitting there, watching the sunset. The kids loved all the outdoor activities, and my wife and I enjoyed some much-needed R&R. We can't wait to come back and experience it……

“This comfy cabin can sleep 6 people no problem! With a close quarters experience made staying more the fun! EasyAccess to kayaks and canoes was awesome. Had a couple Beavers going back n forth in front of the cabin as well! Bailey the Neighbor dog stopped by to say hi in the yard along with Chancellor and Lous minutes prior. “Lou-Anne and Rick are the cream of the crop as hosts. Lou-Anne came right over to fix my wi-fi connection. We had a good conversation, too, about the history of the cabin. It is small but adorable! Not too much Maine decor, just right, cleverly displayed. The owners have made their cabin fully functional even in tight places. Very comfortable and attractive. As for Dexter Pond’s natural habitat, while we were kayaking, we saw a mother loon with her baby on her back, an eagle in flight, and an……
