"We positioned ourselves in Cambridge Springs PA so that we could travel up to 6 hours northeast to 6 hours southwest to catch the 2024 Eclipse. We were fortunate that we needed to only travel about 2 hours west to Ohio to catch the best weather. We would have had a wonderful view from the Cambridge Springs location, but were unsure about the weather. The cottage was homey and well stocked with everything we needed. "I like to stay at our own house when we are in town visiting family, and this house was perfect. It was updated and very comfortable. My local family was just as pleased with how nice the house was as we were. It was a very nice stay and perfect location for us."

"This is the most well stocked VRBO in which we have stayed. Eggs from then farm chickens was such an added touch. The setting is beautiful. My daughter’s graduation pictures ended up looking like we picked a professional photographer. Note, the shower is upstairs only and the steps are steep. There is a deep bathtub downstairs, but for my older family this presented a challenge."

"The house and property are a perfect getaway. There were nice added touches such as snacks, coffee and pretty much anything you needed. It was very clean and would highly recommend it. The kitchen is fully stocked and lots of linens as well as outdoor furniture. It is in a safe neighborhood and everyone was very friendly. It is only a few miles from the bicycle trail. We will be planning our next stay here. I cant say enough good things about this place."

The towels are very nice and plush. Cons: I had to go out and buy shower curtain liners for all three bathrooms. I really don't think they had been changed all summer. Ugh! There was pink mold around the drains in the bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom is a nice addition but the sink is so small it is almost...

"We stayed for two night to view the total solar eclipse. The set up is a little different than other rentals, but the description is very accurate. Also the owner communicated with us on what to expect and what to bring. We were prepared and had a great time. We loved walking on the property, around the lake and up to the bridge. The owner was wonderful, helpful and friendly. We watched the solar eclipse from the patio and it was awesome."

"For the reason we had to visit the area, William was fantastic. We got in super late and had no issues getting in. I loved the simple check in process of just showing up to your room! All around an amazing stay. Great location too, was right in the middle of where i needed to be."
