The guy checking us in was super nice. Bed was comfortable. Place needs updating. No refrigerator no microwave in the rooms. The carpet was disgusting.

The staff was very friendly and our room was comfortable. There were enough beds for the five of us. Breakfast was good but lacked protein. The little room was quaint. The walls, however, were very thin. We had to run the fan all night even though it was cold out in order to not hear the people next door laughing and talking. I would expect lower prices for an older place like this.

The property was good. For the price, I would expect a little more, but it was adequate. The morning breakfast was good. The staff was a bit "hovering" over people, I'm not sure why. They will charge you $2.00 per day to have access to the hotel safe, which is a bit odd. You have to ask them to reverse the charge when you leave, so it will catch some people. I also don't like the new "trend" that hotels now have of not cleaning your room or bathroom every day, unless you ask them to. They spin this as respecting your privacy, when it really is a cost cutting measure. Even when asked to clean the bathroom and replenish the supplies, they have twice forgotten to refill the body wash container. Overall, a convenient location and a room/property that was good. It was loud at night because of the location next to the Bayfront Highway. They could have done better with the sound insulation due to that.
