“The apartment was a great base camp for our travels in the upper pennisula. Beds were comfortable and shower was nice. I do agree with another review about the bathtub being slippery when taking a shower. We bought a bath mat which helped tremendously.”

We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching the deer. Kitchen was very well stocked.The location is very close to restaurants in Calumet and 15 minutes from Hancock/Houghton.Owner is very prompt in communicating and very helpful. We happened to arrive as th family was arriving and they were very friendly and gave great……

“We came to hike so was great location-relatively short drives to copper harbor, eagle harbor, McLain State park, falls etc.. calumet area has options for dining, groceries etc so you don’t have to drive to Houghton, unless desired. Apartment was clean, relaxing and nicely decorated. Would stay again!!”

“This ended up being the perfect choice for us. Nice cozy place to come back to after a day of exploring. Beautiful sunsets over the lake, you can have a fire if you like or spend some time in the wood barrel sauna! Getting ready in the morning was awesome we would see a family of bald eagles flying around from a near by nest.”
