“The room was perfectly clean with a very comfortable bed and the shower had none of the malfunctions often experienced in hotels!! The public rooms were beautifully decorated for Xmas. We enjoyed two breakfasts at the extensive buffet but missed maple syrup for our pancakes! However we were most impressed with the friendliness & helpfulness shown by all the staff & we expressed this on our departure. We will be back!”

Breakfast and lunch available at a cost. Parking - free- on street outside. 5 min walk to the two Marine Parks and the beach. 20 min walk to South Shields metro. 25 to the ferry. ”
