"This hotel worked for us in that it was roughly halfway on our journey to the south of France. The staff were very friendly and helpful on check-in. The hotel itself is quite tired and needs some modernisation. Restaurant was not open the evening we were there but the Local town of Avallon had plenty of pleasant restaurants available. "

Very acceptable level of quality, it is not fancy or boutique yet it is a very high value offering for the price point. We had the breakfast, that was as advertised with a good variety on offer, much more than a simple continental breakfast. I would return here again anytime. "
