"Fantastic boutique hotel that is about a 3-min walk from Grand Central. Midtown hotels I've stayed in recently have all felt really overpriced and dingy - this was a notable EXCEPTION to that rule. "Just a quick overnight stop on this trip. This is a beautiful hotel with a great lobby bar offering live music on Saturday evening. Guestrooms are spacious and well appointed. We had a corner room and it was surprisingly quiet for NYC. Comfortable beds and great in-room coffee. The bathroom walls and ceiling needed to be wiped down and cleaned better, but the heated floors are a nice touch! Also could use a second set of slippers and bathrobe for a room with two guests noted in the reservation....
