“Two besties met halfway for a girls weekend. Close to Alexandria and all it has to offer. The Boathouse was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed an evening on the deck with the beautiful fall colors on the lake. Host was available by phone and let me know that by a phone call before I checked in. Everything was easy and I would not hesitate to book again. In fact my friend even said we need to do this again. ”

“Loved this property and plan to return again. It is perfectly appointed with everything you need. It looks small but it has nooks, hooks and baskets to put away all your things. The screen porch is wonderful. Swimming and boating right from the property and the lake is very clear. The host was very responsive to needs and concerns.”

“We came up with my extended family (14 of us) to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary. The home was STUNNING and there was plenty of room to sleep, eat (indoor dining table and outdoor patio tables seat 16), and hang out. There are coffee makers everywhere too, which my family loved. We quite enjoyed taking out the paddle boat, kayaks, and paddle boards (plenty of life jackets too). The water is shallow for quite a ways out which made swimming easy … and our hosts also graciously provided...

“The house was perfect for our family - 11 people (toddlers - adults). Check-in was easy, and Jeremy responded quickly to all questions. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to make our meals (nice pots/pans and utensils). The double oven was a bonus. The beds were comfortable. The kids loved the bunk beds. We enjoyed the large screen in the basement and comfy seating. We had a minor problem with the air conditioning not cooling the upstairs, but Jeremy had someone out right away...

“Shelly and Brett were wonderful hosts! Their home is spacious, spotless and well appointed. We had everything we needed for our extended family vacation (6 adults and 2 teens). Comfy beds, beautiful views, and so many fun extras like a pool table and movie room. We will gladly come back to this beautiful lake home!!”
