“Nice balcony but not much of a view”

“I always appreciate a swimming pool and this one was big enough for me to swim circles to get my exercise daily. The jets on the hot tub did not work, a small disappointment. The breakfast is always a nice thing with several hours to get down there. The breakfast attendant was cheerful and attentive. It is right across the bluff so we could see the lake and walk across Lake Shore Drive to see the water, waves and sunset.”

“This is definitely a work in progress. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet for the most part and the staff was very friendly. It's clear a family has taken on the job of restoring this property to a new, beautiful standard. I was pleased with the location, the price and our room. The elevator is a little scary at the moment, but I'm sure it will be fixed. I look forward to seeing it fully restored.”

“Beautiful newer hotel on gorgeous property. Staff was outstanding, and food was out of this world-quite surprised how wonderful it was. Downsides-no closet or area to hang clothes, walls not soundproof-could hear music from restaurant in room late at night and mattresses weren't great. ”
