"The property looks a little run-down, but what do you expect from a lower-budget hotel that has been in operation since 1951? The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the shower was hot, and the towels were oh so fluffy. The cafe is a great spot for dinner (I had the chicken fried steak), breakfast (eggs and sausage with hash browns and toast), and probably lunch."

"It’s a very special place, especially for those who want solitude and natural beauty. The house is a rustic farmhouse. The kitchen is new and very nice. The bedrooms are a mix of queen beds, bunk beds, and a small room with a full size (tight fit). The house is bigger than the two of us need, but the property is so beautiful it’s worth it to us. We do day excursions to surrounding sights, but mostly we hang out on the lawn by the small pond and creek and read, plus stare at the expansive view!"
