“This house is absolutely perfect and the owner was extremely accommodating and quick to reply to messages. Amenities are provided by the owner. The house is a block away from the water, the Wellwood and the market Street cafe. Great food at both locations. Located 4 miles from North East MD. We will definitely be back.”

“The Dock House was the best place for a weekend getaway! The hosts, Gary and Diane were the most pleasurable people to meet and interact with. They welcomed us with open arms, (literally.) The space was so clean and quaint and had everything we needed. Access to the pier was perfect for morning coffee and floating in the river in the afternoon. “The description of the property was accurate. Everything was clean, updated and comfortable. The check-in process and directions were very thorough. Since there is an upper rental as well and was occupied during our stay, we did hear some noise from upstairs but that did not bother us. We would definitely stay at here again if we travel to the area in the future.”

“This cozy home was perfect for me and my dog for an extended stay! We loved walking in HdG every day and went on several hikes throughout the area. The kitchen was well-appointed and I found everything I needed and then some! Suzanne left a bottle of wine for me, and she was responsive and made herself available for any issues/questions. “Waterview cottage is comfortable and very clean. The accommodations look new and we had good sleep. The kitchen has most of the necessary equipment for meal preparation. A baking sheet pan is needed. WiFi and Roku TV was excellent. The primary bedroom bed was so tall/high my wife could not get in or out of it. That necessitated sleeping in the 2 twins. "I liked the bed, the pillows and the bedding set, it is a quiet room, so I had very good sleep. The shower had a strong pressure which we liked too. But the property needs to be updated, and the cleaning procedures are poor. The floor was dirty and there was a lot of mildew in the shower in different places. The furniture in the room is also old and the bathroom door needed to be replaced. Tiles in the elevator were broken. And there is a musky odor when you enter the lobby which gives you a very bad feeling about what’s coming, but the rooms had the carpet replaced with wood like tiles and didn’t have the musky odor that I perceived in the lobby and in the hallways where they had old carpets. This hotel is now a 6 out of 10 and needs urgently to be refurbished. They can leave the beds and bedding though :-). "
