“The room was big and comfortable. The location hasa huge advantage that its close to the park, but its disadvantage is limited food options close by. Price was reasonable. The showerhead in the bathroom kept leaking, thats my only minor gripe with the stay. Otherwise, a very nice place to stay for a trip to Sequoia NP. ”

“The dining is really good, but the hotel room's carpet has bad oder.”

“We were there on Thanksgiving. This was a really cozy place! It’s full of history and atmospheric details. A little bit cold in the bathroom but overall enough heating in other rooms. The house is located somewhere at the height level of 4000 feet, so be prepared to drive uphills about 40-60 minutes. Sequoia National Park is 30 minutes if driving and the way is very winding”

“Great setting in the woods. Excellent communication. Lots of wildlife! A family of deer and turkeys. Composting toilet was clean and worked perfectly. I really liked that the seat was heated which was nice and warm. Look forward to staying again! ”

“Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time. Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by. I wouldn't hesitate to book here……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at the Cozy Cottage. The apartment was fun, clean, and eclectic. We had a short drive to the entrance of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. The hosts, John and Tracey, made the visit memorable and unique with their hospitality and breakfast . We would definitely consider coming back !”
