“We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were large and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. It was very hot during our stay but the airconditioned rooms were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and they were not short staffed like many other places. The pool bar makes the best Pina Colada's in PV in my opinion.”

“We loved the Marcela Resort. It was a 2-bedroom / 2-bath unit, and very large - at least by US standards. From the wrap-around deck, it had an amazing view of the pool, down the mountain, and out to the ocean. It had a full kitchen, separate jacuzzi, and in-unit laundry. The price was still very reasonable. The whole property was well-kept and nicely decorated. It's also very picturesque - the building itself is really interesting, and the gardens all over the grounds are full of pathways with……

“Let me start by saying my fiancé and I are in the hospitality business and we were extremely impressed by attentive and welcoming staff, the grounds, the location, the hotel, the pool the food and the service. We needed a place to really relax and unplug from the stress of everyday life. Marcela was paradise for us! Betty greeted us upon arrival and checked us in with ease. “The 5th floor of the Marcela was exactly as pictured. The suits were clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We at breakfast in the hotel and had room service one evening and enjoyed the food and the wait staff. We spent afternoons at the pool. The only issue we had was the staff wasn’t interested in offering us drinks. We found it easier to bring our own down then try to get them from the bar. In all it was a hotel we will visit again!”
