“The house was not in a good neighborhood. Major issues: Chained dog barked all night, the washing machine didn’t work, had to call to find the linens which were stored in a file cabinet in a bedroom, showed up during check in time and cleaning staff was still there, hardly any dishes on site so forget about cooking a meal there. Place was a disappointment at best, especially for the overall cost.”

“The property is beautiful. I went for a self-care long weekend on my own. The space is comfortable and perfect for a easy get away in nature. I spent more of my time sitting on the porch, than inside. The property is rural, but doesn't feel completely disconnected. Close to 2 great hiking parks. Laurel was attentive and had the place stocked with the necessities and then some.”

“The house is beautiful and it is in a great neighborhood and it was close to the Benton! We were in town for a conference so that was convenient! I will say a few things could have been prepared/stocked a little better. There was no bed sheets for two of the beds (or not that we found anywhere,) there was very very little toilet paper. Our group had to go buy more and there was no hand soap in one of the bathrooms and there was not any coffee provided (this one is minor but always a nice touch……

“After realizing we would need a place to stay longer than 1-2 days, and also needing a pet friendly location, I was able to find Amelia’s Retreat. It was the perfect spot, the home is nice, we had plenty of room, and the backyard was perfect for our little dog. The location was great and conveniently located to shopping and a variety of restaurants. We would love to stay here again on our future trips to the area!”

“We had a great stay. We were able to celebrate our youngest sons birthday while we were there. Also our dogs got out of the fence in the backyard. The owner immediately contacted us to let us know that the neighbors were able to get them back in the yard and repair the fence where they got out. Very appreciative that they helped keep our dogs safe.”

“The house was extremely clean and had the right kitchen needs. A bit of smoke and mirrors. The cool bricks on the walls are wallpaper. Only 2 thin pillows on each bed. Need more comfy pieces like a warm blanket or clean pillows on sofa. Bed linens were thin and cheap. Not enough hangers or garbage bags. The table and chairs in dining nook were extremely flimsy. One chair was bent and broken. Bathrooms extremely clean. Laundry area was perfect. Rug in master room is dangerously slippery. The……
