“We stayed at this property for five weeks in February and March 2022. The home is in a beautiful location and has a fantastic view. During the entire five weeks, we watched humpback whales breach in the channel below. The neighborhood felt very safe and had few properties are available for rental. It is very hilly but safe for walking and bicycling. The location has easy access to main road, beaches and restaurants in nearby Wailea and Kehei waterfront areas as well as local golf courses....

“I rented this place for a month for my family and we were not disappointed. Really one of the best places to stay in Ho'olei. The view from the Lanai is incredible and the place comes with 8 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, and plenty of beach towels great for going to any beach. The pool area in the community is great with a gym and two big jacuzzis and waterfalls. The only thing I would improve is the downstairs bedroom's bathroom's water pressure and shower. “We had a wonderful time at Halama House-it is exactly as advertised. Being able to walk a few steps to the beach each night for the sunsets was wonderful and being able to sit on the lanai and eat even with the wind blowing was a plus. The house is large, had comfortable furniture, a well equipped kitchen with plenty of supplies and we never felt crowded.
