“Everything was wonderful except the kitchen was short on a few cooking items. There was no frying pans at all to cook in and could also use some mixing bowls and serving bowls to cook with.”

“This listing is very accurate. The property is in a great location and has all the amenities and comforts of home. The host was very responsive and great about notifying us regarding inclement weather during our stay. The outside seating and fire pit made our stay even more enjoyable. We would love to stay here again if we have the opportunity.”

“We needed a 1 night stay, got in late. Great house and it was clean. The only comment I would say and they are very minor is, there was no light outside and it was very dark. Also, the rug at the front door both inside and out, had no grip so we slid around a bit.”

“Excellent place to stay to explore the eastern portion of the Shawnee National Forest. We used it as a launching point to see the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, and Dixon Springs State Park. Wish we had another day to do more exploring. The cabin is secluded, so stock up on groceries and charcoal for the grill before you arrive. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils that made cooking meals easy. It was comfortable, clean and peaceful. I will definitely stay there again the……
