"Shanty Creek was a great place to stay. The room was spacious, clean, and private. The restaurant on site had fun specials after 5 pm and there was a shuttle that took you to the bar in town. Pool area seemed well kept, and so did the grounds in general. I'd totally stay here again. "

Great restaurants in the area. The dock was nice to have for our boat. The hosts were onsite and so accommodating. New friends were made and the trip was a blast. "

"House located close to the sand bar and marina. Easily access grocery stores, lake, casino, golf, and so much more. House was stocked with tons of towels, pillows, covers, grill, chairs and fire pit. Ashley was very inviting and quick to answer any concerns. Our annual family vacation of 8 adults, 2 pre-teens and infant was accommodating and comfortable. Great for those that seek comfort, location, clean well kept home. "

"Charming cottage within walking distance of Alden Michigan. The place was VERY clean and the kitchen well stocked with all needed utensils and kitchen items!! Bathrooms VERY clean as well and plenty of sitting areas for guests. We had 2 nights with 11 guests and everyone had a bed and extra bedding was provided! Great dock with ample deck chairs and a mooring buoy which held our 24’ master craft boat all week long! "
