"Easy check-in - the door code was fast and quick and no key to loose! It was very comfortable, sparkling clean and they left flowers from the gardens which was a welcome greeting to walk into. I just had a quick stay - but would definitely come back here for a longer trip. Close to everything, the town is amazing - walking distance to restaurants and shops. The house is small, but lovely. It was glorious for 1 person, quiet and well cared for. I prefer this to a hotel, and they had all of the comforts - soft towels, extra blankets. I didn’t use the AC because it was too nice with the windows open. Very comfortable, host was very accommodating for a last minute work trip. 10/10"

Setting is a quiet neighborhood located close to golf course, lake, mountains, shops, and restaurants. We really enjoyed our time there!"

"The bunkhouse was a perfect accommodation for our family of 4, and there's a bunch of fun things to do at the pond to relax. We were initially a little nervous as there weren't many reviews on VRBO, but the property is also listed on another booking site with great reviews, and as indicated there many times, Jenny is an excellent host and the accommodations were clean, modern and comfortable.This area is a delightful part of Maine--an easy drive from Camden, Rockport, or Rockland--and we had great visiting all 3 towns, plus the cute little village of Hope itself. Highly recommended!"

"This was our first time to Lake Megunticook and we loved it- there are endless ways to enjoy the lake, we paddled the canoe and kayak across to a picnic spot for lunch, we swam every day, and my young children waded in the sandy shallow portion to search for special pebbles and frogs. The house has a long porch with picnic table and chairs, perfect for enjoying the water views and spotting loons. The house is a rustic seasonal cottage, it has a generous living area inside, including a large kitchen and dining area, a single bathroom, and bedrooms that connect. Owners were very responsive. Thanks for a lovely visit. "

"Not only was the house a great place to stay— convenient to everything in Camden, beautifully decorated, well stocked modern kitchen—Katherine, our hostess, was super nice and even turned on lights in and out when we were late returning after dark. She also put down rugs on the gravel walkway to the house as I use a walker and had trouble with the gravel. We enjoyed talking with her and her son, Owen, when we saw them outside! There is a lovely deck out back— the garden , flowers and trees all around are beautiful! It’s so peaceful and quiet! We loved our time there and would certainly stay there again!!"
