“The most relaxing vacation. The backyard and gardens are breathtaking, and you’ll never want to leave the cabin; the mountain view’s from the porch are to die for and the stargazing at night is unbelievable. The owners were so sweet and easy to contact. It was such a wonderful stay, we are definitely coming back again. ”

“PERFECT! We wanted a short getaway in the mountains that was relaxing and quiet and that is just what we got. We enjoyed a nice lunch with not a single sound but the rain falling before heading to explore The cabin is private and cozy, and very clean, the linens smelled wonderful and fresh. Highly reccomend! (Also there is one of the most nap worthy arm chairs we have ever seen) ”

“Perfect place to stay if you love sitting outside and listening to nature. The propert was clean and comfortable. Easy distance to travel to Gettysburg or DC (we did both.) Overall, as a family of 4, we would love to return if we ever make it back this direction. ”

“The rental description & photos accurately matched the home. Our group of 5 used all 4 bedrooms comfortable mattresses and furniture. We loved lazy mornings on the deck with beautiful mtn views. Afternoons were an easy 10 minute drive to enjoy the theatre festival in Shepherdstown. Several deer sighting (be cautious driving). ”

“As always we had a wonderful stay at the cabin. My husband and I are teachers- so we like to have a long weekend at the cabin before school begins. I did mean to tell you one of the green chairs broke on the back porch.”

“Loved the stay, our host answered calls promply and was so considerate. We loved the woodstove, grew up with one, loved the smell, loved still being close to stores,restaurants, and plenty of wooded area just beautiful. ”

“Wingspan was very cute...definitely needed 4 wheel drive to make it down the gravel road to the home though. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom. Basement was a little bare bones compared to the rest of the house. Would stay here again. Thank you!”

“This is my familys second time staying at Lisa's property. Each time the cabin has been clean, well stocked, and no issues whatsoever. Lisa is very easy to communicate with and the property itself is special. From the relaxation under the canopy of trees, to the pool and creek access, there is plenty for a family to do. We look forward to our next annual trip!”

“Beautiful cabin and outdoor area. Super dog friendly with fenced yards, and they provide dog bowls, clean-up bags, and a leash, just in case you forget something. Hope to stay again!”

“Our stay in the Cedar Hill Cottage was certainly represented well by the website photos and was in a very pleasant location in the rural outskirts of Chambersburg. The wonderfully stocked kitchen and bathrooms certainly made our stay easy in terms of fulfilling all our needs, and the cleanliness of the house overall was evident upon first entering the front door. We really liked the deck and view; cool in the shade and pleased by the woodsy surroundings! You can even see the distant Blue Ridge...

“The house was super clean, as advertised and exactly what we were hoping for. The creek out back allowed our dog to swim and we jumped in some lazy tubing! The charcoal grill delivered as well!”
