“Super clean, great water pressure in the shower, and plenty of room for 2 people. The hosts are lovely, great with communication and will likely greet you at check in. If you're looking for a quiet and private place for a long weekend, this is a great option. The town of Shokan is super tiny and has very few dining and/or grocery options, so you'd have to head to Woodstock, Kingston or Phoenicia for legit breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinking options, but all are just a 15-25 minute drive away. ”

“This rental was the absolute perfect location for walking to all the wonderful restaurants and fun shops in Woodstock. It was clean and bright, and the balcony was an added bonus. As an FYI, the rental is on the second floor in an old building. We could hear the people above us walking (both foot steps and creaky floor boards). While it was slightly annoying, the perfect location more than made up for it and we would absolutely stay here again. ”

“The location of this home was absolutely beautiful! It provided the perfect getaway spot for a couple to see explore the Hudson Valley from a central location…that is if you ever want to leave the back deck that overlooks the Hudson river. My husband and I swung for hours on the bed swing having coffee in the morning while watching the leaves fall around us and we wound down at night sitting by the fire pit.On top of the fact that Shannon keeps this home in immaculate condition and provided……

“Steep stairs rewarded by magnificent loft. Very clean, pool table, TV complete with YouTube, Netflix, Prime and a bunch more I am did not useModern appliances, bathroom & shower were exceptional.Lots of little touches done right.I am very sensitive to noise at night, forgot my earplugs and had no problem sleeping. There was the occasional train which in the MBR was not a problem. For sensitive sleepers, might be a problem in the other bedroom.We did not eat there (no good opportunity),but there……
