“We had a great experience staying at the hotel. The room was clean, safe, and big. We all like the two attic windows. The most surprising thing was that we found the Bratislava Castle shining during the nighttime when we opened the window.”

“This hostel is very good. The receptionist was here til midnight and he is very helpful.
The room is bigger than we thought and it is comfortable.
Warm water for the shared shower is not enough at night when everyone wants to take a shower.
May need to wait a little bit longer, but the bathroom is tidy.
The kitchen is quite small, but equipped which is very good.
Free biscuits and drinks are plus!”

“Great location for exploring Bratislava on foot, leaving the car parked in the hotel’s secure parking. Easy to find. Car parking was well-marked and the entry is almost next to the hotel front door. Our room had a comfortable double bed, sofa, TV, a washing machine in the bathroom, small kitchenette with crockery and cutlery for 2, plus a decent sized fridge with a freezer compartment - very useful if you’re driving around Europe with a cool box in your car! Can’t comment on the breakfast……

"I rarely write hotel reviews, but I deeply, deeply, deeply regret choosing this one.
Before booking, I checked Google Maps and saw that it’s a 17-minute walk to the city centre. I thought, “If walking takes 17 minutes, public transport must be even faster.”
To my surprise, taking public transport actually takes 40 minutes — much longer than walking — and you have to transfer twice to get to the centre.
The location is remote and not easy to find, especially at night. Even though the hotel had available rooms when I arrived, they wouldn’t let me check in early unless I paid an extra €25. Who would want to pay extra just for 2 or 3 more hours in a hotel that barely qualifies as four stars? It’s really more like a three-star hotel.
The hotel is old, and the bathroom is even older — the outdated design means water leaks all over the floor when you take a shower.
Overall, this was a very disappointing experience."
