"We booked the cabin in the woods for family ski/snowboard trip. Crotched mountain was perfect for the kids learning and for us to enjoy as well. The mountain was about 45 minute drive from the cabin. We also were able to skate on the lake which it's a few minutes walk from the cabin. We really enjoyed exploring the farm and meeting the animals. I asked ahead of our stay what they would have available to purchase from the farm and Jenny stocked our fridge with delicious pasture raised meats....

Cabin located in quiet area and short 5 minute drive to great hiking trails and Newfound Lake and 10 minute drive to downtown Bristol with great coffee shops. Ragged Mountain only 20 minutes away and Gunstock only 40 so easy to enjoy skiing, snow tubing, hiking and so much more. Extended our stay an additional night because we didn’t want to leave. "This was a perfect place to stay with several coworkers, as we conducted research on a nearby lake. Straightforward check-in and plenty of space for us to spread out. It is down a long dirt road (which is in great condition - very smooth and fine for all types of vehicles in summer), so feels quite remote despite having plenty of neighbors nearby. "The house was super convenient to Mount Sunapee and Newport is a really nice town. There were two families staying at the house with kids ranging from 11 years old to 1 year old. Everyone was very comfortable and we all had a lot of fun. I highly recommend staying there."

"This studio was nicely refinished and perfect for a solo week-long getaway. I appreciated the screened-in porch in the evenings. The location was great, with a beach across the street, Wellington State Park a short drive, and many beautiful hikes nearby. The mattress, however, had a blood stain on it which I found repulsive. I would suggest bringing a mattress pad along with your linens."

Beautiful view, watch the sunset, easy access to Perkins Pond in the front yard, pine needle carpet - bring your crocks or Googone to get the sap off the bottom of your feet.
