"The cabin itself was okay. Could have been cleaner and if we had stayed more than one night I would have said something. Mold in shower, crumbs under microwave, dusty windowsills. No top sheet on bed. The area surrounding was just dirt and gravel and a couple of ugly outbuildings with junk all around. The cabins themselves looked fine but otherwise was not pretty"

"Treehouse was just as the pictures and description portray. It was clean, quiet and peaceful. My wife and I stayed at the Owl's Nest Treehouse for just a quick one night get away. It was the perfect spot for some quiet time alone and a soak in the hot tub. The check in process was as simple as it gets, and the owners were very responsive to the few questions we asked. For dinner we went to Springfield VT (about a 30 min drive). You can probably find something a little closer, but Alstead...

"This is a little modern cabin in the woods type experience. It is fairly private, set apart from the road. It rained while we were there, but if it had been warm and dry we would have taken advantage of the outdoor table and chairs. A lovely little spot in rural New Hampshire for one or two."
