“This is a quaint old-style motel with drive up rooms. Right on the main highway and close to the PA Grand Canyon. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating, and because she is a local resident, she knew a lot about the area. The highway can be a bit noisy at night but with the fan running on the air conditioner, the traffic noise was drowned out. The beds are very comfortable and home made breakfast was delicious. We would defiantly stay here for our next Pine Creek Gorge adventure.”

“This historic hotel is charming in every way. The double beds are a little small as we know. Although the mattress was comfortable, it does tend to roll you to the middle. Pillows are comfortable. Everything is clean overall wonderful stay”

“My husband and i went away for a few days and stayed at Sherwood Motel. Our room was immaculate, well stocked and very comfortable. Although, i felt more towel hooks would have been nice, it did not hinder our stay. Would definitely stay again!”

“My sister and I wanted to explore the PA Grand Canyon on our way to western PA. This little apartment was WONDERFUL as a halfway point. Everything was themed, which we found entertaining, the beds were comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen, but it would have been adequate had we needed it.”

“Although this reservation was booked spontaneously, we ended up having a magnificent time kicking off our summer at The Cozy Cove. We love Wellsboro and the surrounding areas, and this campground is at the heart of it all. There is a walking path at the far end of the campground that takes you directly to the Leonard Harrison state park in under a mile where you can enjoy both world class trail systems and world class views. “Everything was very clean and in good shape. Odd odor in both bedroom and bath that was unpleasant like an overpowering deoderizer. Shower area very dark with opaque rather than clear shower curtain. The conditioner dispenserwas empty in the shower. Cute pond and sitting area. Paddle boats were a nice touch for pond area but were filthy and full of sand and water. (Should be kept upside down after being used)”
