Colton Point State Park Tours

I think I will start by saying I am not an overly critical person. So, with that in mind I would say this is a great place for an overnight which is what we used it for. What was done well: front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, and the complimentary water was nice to offer. We personally didn’t find the breakfast area or the breakfast very useful. At the price point even getting some cereal is a bonus though. We skipped it. At the price and getting the important stuff correct (decent bed, clean room, friendly staff) I would definitely recommend for someone passing through. It isn’t a resort or a place where I would set up for a few days as it and the area is limited. If you value a quiet nights sleep, great price, and a clean room than this is your place.

The Black Sheep Inn is a rare gem! Built in the mid-19th century and renovated with modern appliances and amenities. Kim makes a fantastic breakfast. Hammondsport is a charming village. We stayed four nights and enjoyed every minute.
