Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort is absolutely our perfect in Aruba. It's literally just a few steps to the beach, to their beach bar or Horizons Bar on property. The convenience of everything close makes it easy to walk. Years ago, we did the sunset dinner on their beach, Passions, which was fabulous. Also, there's a grocery store that also sells alcohol just 5 mins away. And, right up the road is shopping & restaurants, plus the "night-life". It's far enough away, that if you turn in early for bed, you're not hearing it all. This may sound crazy, but the coffee machine & coffee pods in our room were superb. The resort cleaning staff kept refilling those pods daily, as well washing the dishes we eft in the sink to wash later after returning from the beach.(It's those little things) And, I've searched the US to buy the machine, but can't find. They do sell it at the local grocery store in Aruba. But finding the coffee pods in the US are also challenging. So, we'll just keep going back to our favorite resort!!!

I can't say enough good things about Manchebo. The staff is very helpful, welcoming and friendly. The property and rooms are very clean. The restaurant and bar/lunch areas are open to the environment with nice breezes and great views of the beach. The beach itself is excellent with clean white sand, enough thatch umbrellas for all the guests and is was not at all crowded during our end of June stay. Food and drink service on the beach is also excellent. Swimming is good too with aqua water and sandy bottom. The water does get deep quick so it may not be ideal for little kids.
