The most important for me was CLEAN room, this was perfectly clean, room and bathroom, very nice shower, spa quality. Also excellent WiFi and the room was my bubble to scape from the noisy street and crazy full on Agra. The LOCATION IS FANTASTIC, close to Taj Mahal, about 5 minutes walk, but the hotel is in some kind of alley, no in the main street, so if you are looking for it you have to find the Maya hotel first, on the main street. Is the same company, but Ray of Maya is the new hotel with nice rooms, but for eating just go to Maya hotel, good food and service. I think is good not to be in the main road actually, because of the noise of the street. Anyway, I want to recommend this hotel, because for us was a good experience, difficult to find because we arrive at 3am without the phone number of the hotel, but the staff is ok if you need a coca cola or a taxi to delhi or whatever. EXcellent option for visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, there is no much else to see in Agra! cheers from Chile!

Nothing wrong with the hotel, but the staff seems poorly trained. They don't seem to know what to do, or who's supposed to do what. Also, the restaurant is inconveniently located in the basement, and the cooks are not very good. How is it possible to make Sikh kabab that is hard to chew, or chicken curry that's nothing but bones? So it's okay to stay there, if you don't eat there.

+ Everything except the towels (but you could still use them) was clean.
+ The bed was very big, comfortable and clean.
- The bathroom turns into a lake after you took a shower, they should provide something to dry the floor.
- very close to the railway Station, you heard the loudspeaker announcements all night long. But if you don't have a light sleep, it might not be a problem

A budget hotel with average facilities but value for money. Provided us a room heater without additional cost.
Staff is really good esp. Ankit who took me in his 2 wheeler at 11 pm in the freezing weather, searching for pharmacy to get medicine for my baby. That was new dimension to hospitality for me.
Food is average.

My first stay at Clarks was in 1977. I was delighted to revisit in 2014 and see that my fond memories match the current reality of this small and friendly hotel. Clarks is well located for visiting sites and shopping in Agra. The hotel staff and the tour advisor are exceptionally helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean.
