"Because I had never visited Los Alamos when the booking said the place was located in Downtown I had envisioned a more traditional urban city center and not such a small village. But that's on me. As for the Canyon Inn itself it was centrally located, clean and relatively quiet. I also wasn't quite expecting the room to be a extra room in someone's residence but it was spacious and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The owners were friendly but not intrusive. Probably worth...

"I would have given 5 stars but at the end of the day every evening we had to get our key cards recoded. We were on the 3rd floor….they never gave an answer on the reason why. Other than that it was good. "

"The room was very spacious; a separate seating area from the sleeping area. You could let someone sleep while you had your coffee & watched the news. The room had a small balcony with a lovely view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains."

"It was fine. Stayed on the bottom floor which meant I could hear every footstep of the people above me for a while, but other than that, it was actually really quiet. Small, sparse, utilitarian room, but it got the job done. Shower was fine. Bed was memory foam."

"Stayed one night, in town for personal business. Room was nice, bed a little hard. Air conditioning quiet, same for hallways. No noise problems from adjoining rooms either. Dining choices are all in casino, food was good, but there was a lot of noise from the action on casino floor. Would have preferred one restaurant located somewhere else on property. Overall perceptions were good, have been back to this property several times and would do so again."

"The hotel set up was pretty neat, view of the pool, though not open this time of year. Area of town wasn't the best, but I didn't feel unsafe. I liked that they accepted pets, even cats. Breakfast was ok."

"Felt safe. Traveled with kids, so that was important. Must deposit $100 cash, which I got back when I checked out. Room was clean. Shower was powerful and hot. Had a few issues with the TV and sink drain, but overall not a big deal. It is noisy there, but not terrible."

"It is a very basic hotel, but for the price you can't ask for more. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive. I recommend it if you are just passing through, just to spend the night."
