"We spent 3 nights at River View Jungle Camp in Nov. 2022. This was our last stop of a 35 day trip to Nepal including 21 days of trekking and a stay in Pokhara. "We stayed for 2 nights and welcomed 2020 here and we couldn't have picked a better place to be. Ram was our guide and he also ensured that our stay was comfortable and took care of any requests we had. We were the only guests for the two nights as it is low season during winter time but we cannot recommend a better time to visit Nepal in general. We were unable to be refunded by the new hotel that have taken it over and were forced to pay to stay somewhere. "Worst experience of my life. Filthy washrooms that we're stinking really bad. AC not working. Lights flickering in our room. The staff were laughing at us, they had 0 customer service skills. Then they would not take our hotels.com booking and wanted to charge us extra as they didn't want to Honor the rate we received from hotels.com - they made us leave the hotel and find another place as we refused to pay extra. Stay away from this place!!!!!"
