Everything down to the beautiful beach and sparkling water was new and clean and serene. Stay here to connect to your family or to yourself. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast outstanding. Service is superior with a staff that is attentive and caring.
Outstanding location for a small island/beach wedding.

We had a great stay. The owners are very welcoming, have a good way of making you feel at home in their house, sharing dinner with them if you want and leave you your own space when you want too. We had a very good meal, one of the best we had in seychelles. The location is special. Very close to everything and in a patch of lush forest, which makes for a quiet night. All in all we highly recommend this place for people looking for a comfortable and less anonymous place!

I stayed in L'oasi Guesthouse for two nights and because my stay was so short, I did not feel the need to spend $200/night in some beach resort. I was greeted by a lovely lady who offered me fresh juice (not sure what it is but it was good!) while I waited for her to check me in. The rooms are decent, more than what I expected. Nothing fancy but it had everything you need. The location is great since it's a short walk to the beach. The owner knew I was travelling by myself and during my first night, came to check up on me when she closed down her reception and gave me a sort of panic button incase of an emergency. Her husband also walks around the guesthouse around 2am to make sure everyone is safe. Needless to say, I slept like a baby for those two nights. Jacqueline (the owner) also introduced me to Daniel, who drove me all around the island, showed me Victoria and a mountain where you had a really nice view of the island and I swear we stopped at every single beach in Mahe. He does all of this for a reasonable price too! He is an awesome guide around the island! Overall, I was happy I didn't stay at some beach resort, because I felt like I experienced the real Mahe. Not the kind that the hotels sell you. L'oasi is safe especially for women travelling solo and you get to meet such wonderful people! I will definitely recommend this place to other people!

We stayed here for 1 night before leaving Mahe. It was a nice place, especially for the price, but tucked away off the main road.
We enjoyed having access to a kitchen very much, and watching the fruit bats in the trees. We had a beautiful view of the surrounding hills / forrest.
The only down side was that throughout the night there were a number of dogs that would bark. I am not used to that and it did wake me up a few times.

Really nice place with great decor. Tv channels are a bit lacking. You must have a car if staying at this place as there is only one restaurant in walking distance (10mins) - although it is a very good one (chez plume). You can't use the nearest beach but it's easy to reach wonderful beaches likes anse soleil once you have a car. It takes 40 mins to drive to beau vallon so can be tiresome if scuba diving regularly but otherwise you're probably better off avoiding beau vallon and Victoria. Helga and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

Le Relax Hotel on Mahe, be sure to note this as there are 3 hotels with same name in Seychelles. Hotel Manager is Roland and makes his guest right at home. Staff were friendly, helpful and very accomodating. Hotel is situated on a steep hillside just off main road. I had a beautiful room with veranda overlooking the bay, very nice, small, 10 rooms only, hotel about 30 minute drive south of airport in Victoria. Cab ride is about 26 Euro's.Excellent restaurant serving Indian, Creole, Western dishes with full service bar, you know it must be good when the locals flock in to eat. The Garlic Nan Bread is made fresh while you wait and is to die for!! Seafood selection is excellent. Beautiful pool area right by the restaurant. Quite, and very restful with good beaches just across the main road for small children. Local village just 15 minute walk south with a couple of restaurants, several markets, dive shop, some local crafts shops. Bus ride to Victoria is 7 Rupee's about .50 US cents. Cab is about 30 Euro's from hotel to Victoria, so you compare!! Seychelles is all the tropical paradise you would need. This hotel is for someone who wants no schedule, no distractions and looking for complete relaxation and restful quite. I could live here full time with ease.

Rooms were really old and uncomfortable. Could not imagine staying there for more than 1 day. Difficult to access rooms. No Towels and linen had to be requested. Eatinf facilities waited for 2 hours for food to be served. Unfriendly staff ,Noisy Aircon. Not recommened for a holiday. The surrounding area in beautiful, but no other eating places or things to do. Very far from Airport - makes it very expensive to travel fro and to.
