"We loved our weekend at Fox Den, which has the best mountain views. We didn't see any wildlife, but they are said to have bobcat, deer, elk, turkey, and even a moose family in the area! We'll just have to go back again to see the animals ;) The house is amazing and the area/property is very quiet - just what we were looking for. It's ideal for families and couples looking for a relaxing getaway. We can't recommend this destination enough!!! "

"Proximity to Monarch Ski area and pass was very convenient. Hot tub was nice to come back to after skiing. The art and decor was local history and unique. We used the small kitchen and enjoyed the use of the stove, oven and microwave. pots and utensils to cook for four. The bunk beds in the hall were firm, but good for smaller children."

"This is a 1-bedroom house that's just a couple of blocks from Salida's creative district. The location cannot be beat. The unit was clean, but I thought the owners were a little obsessive about visitors *keeping* the place clean; this is the first time I've ever been asked to run a load of laundry and take out my own trash. I've also never before had a rental with a coffee machine that didn't have at least some coffee on hand. Be sure to bring your own."

"It's April at a ski lodge. Minimum staff, but friendly and only a couple guests in this giant lodge. Beautiful scenery in a vacant lodge."
