Arrived at 23.45 and greeted with cocktails on arrival by the manager, tour of the hotel/facilities. Cases were taken to the room, a small food platter was laid on. All staff were friendly/helpful (nothing too much trouble). Child free zone (a big plus!), a very pleasing 4 star hotel (definately not a 5 or 6 as advertised on some sites) but a good experience overall. Food excellent,(breakfasts are excellent....kept us going until at least mid afternoon) cleanliness in general excellent, room was a little below a 4 star (but nothing to moan about), Tip: Do not book a taxi through the hotel (theres always plenty of taxis at the airport and in Kos town) the hotel will typically charge the taxi firm a fee for booking and they will pass the fee onto you e.g.: Airport to Hotel 35 euros (if you ask the hotel to book it it'll cost you 55 euros) Had a slight misunderstanding with restaurant manager (but once I spoke to Maria the hotel manger, it was swiftly resolved...a big plus to her and to him for acknowledging/apologising). If I had to criticise anything I would say it needed a little more entertainment in the evening (they hold a BBQ evening on a Monday, Greek night on a Wednesday & cocktails on a Friday, just the food/drinks no entertainment... a guitar or piano playing in the background would be nice so that couples could have a smooch after a nice meal and a few glasses of fine wine, this would also help couples to interact a little better. Would defiantly recommend.
