Clean enough but way below par for 4 star. If heading to winterburg, avoid this hotel. Towels were so old they had holes in, bedding and pillows were just as old and can't believe the terrible state of the pillows! Noisy between rooms, and cold room when we arrived so we needed to put heating on full and still cold through night. Dated decore apart from pool area although pool is small and cold! As was the one shower and smallest changing room and toilet. Disappointing breakfast and not free WiFi as advertised. Would not recommend for a young family. Head to winterburg centre for better and similarly priced hotels. Very dissopinting stay overall.

Nice hotel, easy to find. Very helpful and friendly staff, with a number of local restaurants in easy reach. Room was not what I expected. Booked a room with three single beds according to Expedia website but got a double room. Fortunately only my son and I and could separate the double bed into two singles! Also wifi did not work in the room (4th floor) and had to sit in lounge/ reception to use the wifi.

This hotel is excellently located for all the activities that the local area offers. We went for a short ski break and the slopes are at the hotel entrance.
Our room was spacious with all the facilities needed. The decor is not exactly modern, but it is clean, tidy and has everything a family could need.
The complex has a restaurant, a german style 'pub', a bistro and a diner - the diner is in their own on site indoor go-kart track!
This hotel really does have everything and we wont be hesitating to go back.

Basically a very nice motel with some four star touches and some oddities. Room was spotless and decorated by somebody with a very specific sense of style. Not my thing, but I won't fault them for it. At any more than the 80 euro we paid it would have been a bit too much given that it's in the middle of nowhere (it is 'on the map' close to the A45, but actually it's quite a trick to get there and you'll be sure you're in the wrong place until you actually see it)--at 50 or 60 euro and if they billed themselves as a three star I would have given them 5 stars. There's not too much to particularly fault them on, but it just doesn't rise to a five star rating for me.
