Sunny February break.
Overall a lovely break away at the end of a British winter. Gorgeous location, comfortable Villa. Decent communication with owner and property manager on the end of a phone (even out of hours when we struggled to get in). Recommended.

Great villa, great location! We’ve been coming to Parque da Floresta / Santo Antonio for many years and this is only the 3rd villa we’ve stayed in. We plan to be back next year, so hopefully that says it all!

Family stay at Budens
We had an absolutely wonderful week in Beth’s lovely villa. Villa is in a beautiful location, very quiet, stunning views. Central location to explore the Algarve, which we all fell in love with! Communication was brilliant and no question was too much trouble. The villa itself was perfect for our family, well equipped and the garden was really special. The only problem is we all have massive holiday blues and want to be in Portugal!

Wonderful time spend
What a wonderful villa! Every day were enjoyed to the max with Algarve sun and great weather and also with all good conditions that this property offer. Excellent for a few days of rest between family and friends. As the owners, they are always available to support you with their friendless and hospitality. Hope to be back soon to repeat everything again.

Great property
Everything was great about the property, except the first day we did not have any electricity. The property instruction book stated that power outages were not uncommon, so we did not report it immediately. However, when we returned to the property after 5 hours, the power was still out. Once we alerted the property manager, she arranged for us to place our perishable food items in another rental property. Right before midnight our power was restored & we had no further problems during our stay. We were a family of 5, so the facilities were the perfect fit with 3 bedrooms & 3.5 bathrooms. Even though it was October, the heated swimming pool was used everyday. It is a fantastic property & I highly recommend it.

When the weather is slightly cooler in October it's always nice to have a warm pool - I'm glad you were able to use it and make the most of it. Great Villa
The property is large and well equipped. Offering all the comforts of home. The heated pool is a huge bonus and a very good size. The owner and management company are very responsive, making the booking easy and helping out when a small problem arose.The resort itself is beautifully landscaped and well maintained providing fab views from the many balconies at the villa. The location was quiet, but only minutes away from lots of good restaurants. The villa is located on the side of a hill, so at times we found it very windy (however this is nothing that any of us can control) and most days the low breeze was welcomed. All in all a great place to stay. Would most certainly recommend and consider again.

Beautiful villa with stunning views and fantastic host.
If you want relaxing, this is exactly what you're looking for. We've never hired a villa before so were unsure what to expect but it blew us away. The villa is clean and spacious with comfy beds and all amenities you'll need to feel like a home away from home. But the two biggest selling points are the pool and the views. The pool is a fantastic size and stayed a lovely temperature all day (at night, turn on the pool lights and it's beautiful to look at) with plenty of space surrounding it and possibly the comfiest pool side loungers you'll ever lie on. Lovely big table and comfy chairs too for poolside lunches and BBQ dinners, which we did twice. Three balconies upstairs all offer stunning views and one of my favourite parts of the day was sitting on the middle one with a cuppa early in the morning and just gazing across the land. InterMarche couple of minutes by car for all your essentials, Lidl 5 minutes in other direction, all very clearly sign posted. Salema 5 minutes drive for the beach and great pizza, Lagos 15 minutes drive for great restaurants and mooching about the marina. 1 hour from Faro airport and very easy to find. The final massive selling point is Beth herself. Fantastic communication from the moment you enquire about availability, you feel no query is silly and a waste of her time and she makes you feel extremely looked after. We'll definitely be returning for a longer stay next year and I can't recommend this villa enough. Thank you so much Beth and John x

Heaven is a place in Budens
I am not a person to normally take time to write reviews but feel compelled to do so following our wonderful stay in Villa 142. From the first requests for information prior to booking and for all other correspondence and assistance Beth could not have been more helpful. Exceptional. As for the villa itself, I cannot speak highly enough. Wonderful location, amazing views, the villa was immaculately clean, facilities within were first class, large comfortable beds, gorgeous pool area, lovely barbeque and well kept gardens. We could not have been happier. Out and about there is a supermarket 5 mins drive away and Salerma is about an 8 - 10 minute drive away. Salerma has lovely places to eat and has a fantastic sandy beach. Add to this the wonderfully warm and sunny weather and it was just the idyllic relaxing long weekend!

Fantastic Villa and resort!
We have just had a lovely week at Beth and John’s villa. Villa had everything you need, great size pool and views were amazing! Information and communication with Beth was brilliant and made our stay easier. We would definitely recommend and hopefully return to Villa 142.

Beautiful fully equipped villa
This was our first stay in a private villa and has set the standard extremely high. Beth was very responsive to all my queries and a pleasure to deal with. The directions were easy to follow and very straightforward. I would recommend hiring a car as you are on a golf resort, which is very peaceful with lovely views but for supplies it is a 30 minute walk and the return journey is all uphill. The villa is equipped with everything you could want, with inflatables and toys for the pool to a hairdryer in every bedroom. We went to the nearest beach Salema which is very picturesque with plenty of free parking. There are a number of restaurants there and we went to Casa Pizza which a number of people had recommended in the reviews. The food was lovely and good value for money. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Great villa on a beautiful property with stunning view
We really enjoyed our stay in that villa. The villa is beautiful, very clean and in a good shape, great pool (especially the children loved the pool), very nice property with plenty of space. A fantastic view of the the sunrise in the morning. We loved watching the sunrise sitting on one of the balconcyes with a cup of coffee. Short ride to the beautyfull beaches. We are really looking forward to come back again. Thanks for a wonderfull time!

Beautiful spacious luxury villa with all you need to make your stay great.
Was looking for a chilled out week and that's exactly what my family had. The villa was great and the pool was well used, the kids loved it. Lovely surrounding villages where to enjoy an evening meal.

Beautiful villa with lovely views from the terraces.
This villa is amazing. It's extremely comfortable on the inside, has everything you would need for a relaxing family holiday. The outside has lovely views from all of the 3 terraces and the pool and surrounding gardens are beautifully kept. Had great communication from Beth from the time I booked to the time we left. When our flights were changed to a later time she was very accommodating and even offered us a late check out. Also thanks to Sam the property manager who again because of our later flight, at short notice arranged a food pack for us and turned on the lights. My family and I had a fantastic holiday at this villa. Salema has a beautiful beach and some very nice restaurants. Our favourite was Casa Pizza and also The mobile pizza restaurant. Travelled into Lagos for boat trips and to eat some evenings. There's a lovely atmosphere here in the evening time and the shops stay open until 11pm. Would highly recommend this villa for holidays.

A beautiful location
A very peaceful location with stunning views over the pool from the terrace. When you arrive by car you should drive slightly up to the front door of the house on its own grounds. Then you enter a large living room with open kitchen and a big cozy dining table with several outdoor terraces. The wind is refreshing because the villa is built on a higher spot in a hilly area. When you walk down the stairs to the 3 bedrooms, you can enter the level of your own private swimming pool. All in all a very nice house for us to relax!

Excellent Property with great facilities
We really enjoyed the stay at Villa 142 in Parque da Florista which was great. The house has all the facilities you could want and the quality of everything is very high. The quality of the furnishings is great and the garden furniture very comfortable with no shortage of options to relax. The location is good with good restaurants in Salema, Bergau and Luz all only5-10 minutes away and the nearest supermarket only 2 minutes in the car. We have not visited this area of the Algarve before but would certainly come back again in the future. I could not recommend the Villa highly enough and as hosts Beth and John were a pleasure to deal with and made everything very easy including all the local information left in the house which was a great help in finding our way around. Traumhafter Urlaub
Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem Haus. Schon im Vorfeld war die Kommunikation mit Beth exzellent, wir wurden mit vielen Infos versorgt und jede Frage wurde sofort beantwortet, was uns ein gutes Gefühl gab. Das Haus liegt direkt im San Antonio Golfresort etwas erhöht auf einem Hügel mit einem fantastischen Blick. Es war ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht, sehr schön war auch, dass alle drei Schlafzimmer über ein eigenes Bad verfügen. Herzstück des Hauses war aber der beheizte Pool, der auch eine gute Größe zum Schwimmen und Tauchen besitzt. Der Pool und die dazugehörige Terrasse sind im Juli bis ca 15.30 Uhr in der Sonne, danach fällt der Schatten des Hauses darauf, es wurde dann mitunter etwas kühl, da es recht windig war. Es gab dann aber durchaus noch andere Sonnenorte im Garten. Wenn wir uns etwas wünschen dürften, wäre es eine Verbesserung der WLAN-Situation. Dieses war für 3 Personen plus Endgeräte deutlich zu schwach. Wir sind dann zum Teil auf das öffentliche Netz umgestiegen, welches exzellent ist. Wir empfehlen dieses Haus ganz klar und würden es auch sofort wieder buchen. Wenn

So möchte ich auch zu Hause wohnen
Das Ferienhaus steht als Einzelhaus in einer schönen Wohnsiedlung, die zum Golfresort Santo Antonio (ehemals Parque da Floresta) gehört und an der westlichen Algarve ideal zwischen Lagos und Sagres liegt. Die Beschreibung ist hier Programm: Villa! Das Haus ist tatsächlich eine Villa in jeder Hinsicht: tolle Hügellage mit Aussicht und großzügigem Grundstück, sehr schöne Architektur, hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Alle drei Schlafzimmer weisen ein Ensuite-Bad/WC auf, die Küche ist komplett eingerichtet (Geschirrspüler!) bis hin zur Waschmaschine, der LED-Fernseher im Wohnzimmer empfängt nahezu alle Programme aller Länder. Neben den drei Balkonen und den verschieden Gartenebenen nebst gemauertem Grill ist als herausragendes Element der Villa der riesige Pool zu nennen. Da über eine Heizung die Wassertemperatur einstellbar ist (keine Extrakosten!), steht einem täglichen Bad auch im Frühjahr oder Herbst nichts im Wege. Wir haben den Pool genossen! Die Anlage ist nur 5 Autominuten vom hübschen Fischerdorf Salema mit seinem tollen großen Strand und netten Restaurants entfernt. Weitere schöne Strände in unmittelbarer Nähe sind der Praia do Zavial, Praia das Ingrina und der Praia do Barranco. Nicht viel weiter ist es zu den spektakulären Stränden der Westküste, die ein weltberühmtes Surferparadies sind. Herauszuheben sind hier der Praia del Telheiro, Praia do Castelejo, Praia do Amado und der Praia da Brodeira. Die historische Stadt Lagos mit Yachthafen, Fischmarkt, Restaurants und geschäftigem Nachtleben sowie pittoresken Buchten ist auch nur 15 Autominuten entfernt. Natürlich benötigt man ein Auto vor Ort, im nahe gelegenen Ort Budens, das auch zu Fuß zu erreichen ist, gibt es aber alles für den täglichen Gebrauch. Hervorheben möchte ich zum Schluss den sehr guten Kontakt zu unserer Gastgeberin Beth, die uns schon vor der Ankunft mit allen wichtigen Infos versorgt hat und auch während des Aufenthalts sehr aufmerksam und immer erreichbar war. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Dieses luftige, grosszügige Haus, sein herrlicher Garten, der wirklich traumhafte, beheizbare Pool und die ruhige Lage mit wundervollem , weiten Blick haben uns ermöglicht, Kraft zu tanken und zur Ruhe zu kommen nach turbulenten Coronazeiten. Die Lage an der Westalgarve war für uns ebenfalls ideal, in 15 Minuten ist man mit dem Auto im entspannten, aber lebendigen Städtchen Lagos, man kann es sich aber auch in Salema in den Strandrestaurants z.B. kulinarisch gut gehen lassen. Die relativ leeren und schönen Strände ausserhalb der kleinen Orte sind ebenfalls schnell erreichbar. Einziger Nachteil: Die Steinböden im Haus sind sehr rutschig, wenn sie nach dem Besuch im Pool ( und Jugendliche gehen andauernd hinein) nass werden, einige weitere Badematten wären gut. Fazit: Himmlischer Ort, Haus und Garten sind ein Stück Paradies, wir würden am liebsten sofort wieder hinfahren.

Excelente dias de descanso
Passei uns dias espetaculares dias em família na vila 142. A piscina aquecida é super, nos dias menos quentes faz toda a diferença de forma a ser sempre aproveitada. A casa está equipada com tudo o que é necessário para uns dias em beleza. Esperamos regressar em breve.

Adorámos a casa!
A casa era fantástica, com grandes áreas e estava extremamente bem equipada, tinha tudo e não nos faltou nada! A zona da piscina e a própria piscina eram, sem dúvida, a melhor parte pois foi lá que Tivemos grandes momentos de descanso, descontração e convívio. Os únicos dois pontos negativos a apontar são - o sinal de Wi-Fi, que é bastante fraco - e a comunicação com o proprietário: impossível falar! Dos 3 e-mails que lhe enviei nunca obtive resposta a nenhum até hoje. E no dia do checkin, houve um problema com o locker onde estavam as chaves e liguei para o seu número (parecia um número estrangeiro). Que me tinha dado juntamente com toda a restante informação e oiço do outro lado “o número que está a tentar contactar não existe”! Felizmente havia um 2° contacto de um número português, de alguém que dava a apoio (Sam, muito prestável por sinal!), e só assim conseguimos falar com alguém. E perceber que o código era outro.... Portanto do proprietário não tenho muito boa avaliação a dar mas sim da pessoa que era o contacto de apoio, a Sam, muito disponível e simpática!

Superbe villa au calme avec magnifique vue
La maison se trouve dans un resort golf, très au calme, un peu en hauteur ce qui permet d’avoir une très belle vue dégagée. Pas loin de Lagos pour l’animation( 15mn environ). Il y a souvent du vent ce qui permet facilement de supporter la chaleur. Plusieurs terrasses dans la maison, ce qui permet de choisir en fonction du vent ou du soleil souhaité. La piscine chauffée est vraiment au top! Fort appréciée même en août! Voiture indispensable. Beth ( l’hote) fourni un book bien complet sur l’arrivee, les activités du coin... Bref, je recommande vivement!!! Thanks again Beth for your villa!

Tolle Lage - Super Pool
Eingebettet in einer herrlichen Villen-Anlage liegt diese Villa ruhig über den Golfplatz von Budens, fast ganz im Südwesten Portugals. Alles ist sehr gepflegt. Bisher kannten wir diesen etwas wilden Küstenabschnitt immer nur von Tagesausflügen, verbunden mit langen Anfahrtswegen. Wir mögen diese Region, mit seinen langen Sandstränden, sehr. Hier spürt man noch die Wucht und die Kraft des Atlantiks. Dieses Mal wollten wir länger in dieser teilweise noch unberührten Natur bleiben, neue Buchten erkunden und die herrliche Blüte im März in den Dünen erleben. Es hat sich gelohnt und da war diese Villa ein idealer Standort. Salema liegt fast vor der Haustüre, man ist schnell in Sagres oder an den vielen Buchten und Städten entlang der Westküste. Das Haus entspricht genau den Bildern in der Beschreibung. Die Räume sind hoch und hell, die Möblierung in warmen Farbtönen sehr ansprechend. Alles war sehr, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Küche gut ausgestattet. Im ersten Stock befindet sich der Eingang und die Wohnräume, mit Küche; im unteren Stockwerk befinden sich die Schlafzimmer jeweils mit direkten Zugang zur Terrasse und Pool. Auch vom Wohnzimmer aus kann man über eine geschwungene Außentreppe zum Pool und den Liegen. Der Pool war ein Traum. Besonders im März, wenn die Abende noch ein wenig kühl sind, war es herrlich bei 28 Grad und mehr Wassertemperatur sich länger im Pool aufzuhalten. So ein angenehmes und weiches Wasser haben wir noch nie erlebt. Wir haben täglich neu erfahren dürfen: Warm macht glücklich! Die Kombination zwischen der lieblichen Sandalgarve und der beeindruckenden Westküste war für uns ideal und wir werden es das nächste Mal wieder so einplanen. Abschließend möchten wir nicht versäumen zu erwähnen, dass der Kontakt mit der Eigentümerin sehr angenehm und problemlos war. Sie zeigte sich sehr einfühlsam und ist sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht.
