"Home was more interesting than the website! We really enjoyed our 2 day stay, as it was close proximity to Rusk and Palestine area. Loved the decor and home has everything you would need for a short stay, minus groceries. Artwork, books and Netflix made for interesting and non boring interior! The bedding is nicely chosen and beds were reasonably comfortable. Geese on the property weren't too scary, we just respected their territory. Only complaint would be there is not enough hot water to enjoy...

"We booked this house for our stay for viewing the total eclipse in Tyler, TX. Communication with the host was quick and easy. We ran into no issues. The house itself is so quaint! A historic cottage feel with the nicest decor touches, very comfortable beds, and very clean/updated bathroom. Highly recommend for a small family, girls trip, or a couples’ getaway!!"

"I needed to stay somewhere after having surgery in Tyler. This house was a great spot on the lake very peaceful. There were plenty of trash bags and thoughtful things like night lights. Plenty of towels and a great washer and dryer. A Keurig that could do a carafe or single serve (cause coffee)! Will stay again in the fall if possible because the view and balconies must be witnessed at that time for sure. If you want to get away but not drive a state away this is the spot to chill"
