“Great stay!”

Stayed for three nights and had no problems. All hotel staff was polite, and really enjoyed their cafe-style setting breakfast area! Overall nice stay.

“On my way Ventura/Santa Barbara”

This property was fantastic!! Further, right next door is a place called Coco's. It is a bakery that serves gourmet quality diners. I had a Prime Rib/Mushroom Ravioli Dinner. The ravioli was quite possibly the best I have ever had (and the bread was like nothing I have ever had). If you are in the area...go to Coco's!!!!

“Balersfield, Reasonable price vs Hotel quality”

This Hotel is a nice place to stay for one or two night. the entrance, lobby and breakfast room are nice and lovely. considering the low price the hotel rooms are acceptable and clean enough. you will also have a terrace on every room with couple of chair to sit out and look around. seems alitbit old but still kept clean and new. I recommend it for spending a night there on your way to a long destination

“Very Comfortable Lodging”

All the staff treated us extremely well. Mercedes in the Breakfast room especially was outstanding, even when dealing with difficult customers. Rosario from housekeeping, also did a great job in fulfilling our needs. The rooms were nice and roomy, shower was great, and wireless internet worked very well. I deffinitely plan to stay here whenever I need to return to Bakersfield from now on.

Overall the stay was good, key failed to open door at 3:00AM and It took over 15 minutes to raise the proprietor, they re-keyed the card and all was well.

Continental breakfast could have been better. There were not many choises.

As a single woman traveling alone I felt fine at this location. Easy to find, well-lit, well-tended and a pretty good free breakfast. I question whether I could have done better for the money; I intend to look at nearby hotels to see if another five or ten bucks will be well spent.

Bare bones, but a very good value when all one wants is a clean and quiet place to stay without paying lots.
