Had to wait for a long time for a front desk agent. I think someone was late to work. But overall had a nice stay. Housekeeping service and the dining / bar customer service was excellent.

There was no parking for our vehicle and it was insanely noisy during the early hours of the evening due to people being loud!

We had a room booked then there was a strange smell and we found dirty socks in between the beds they swapped us rooms. Then I set up the couch for my kids to sleep in. There was a huge urine stain on the mattress. With two other little black spots looked like bugs I then checked over the who room and found the coffee maker had mold and very dusty in all areas. I talked to staff again and they put a sheet on the mattress. But nothing Eles. And told use they can’t do anything Eles for us I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you want to see the photos I have those also

I USUALLY love thi lodge and hadn’t stayed for quite awhile so had really been excited about it. I was surprised that updating the facility wasn’t noticeable. I was looking forward to a bath but the tub was too shallow. There wasn’t a little fridge. Then there were several large groups who didn’t respect other guests and were walking the halls partying, speaking loudly, sometimes shouting until after 2 am. The counter staff didn’t seem to be energetic when it came to serving guests in lineup to register. I still will come back as I do like the location and services.

This was an amazing get away location. The staff were friendly and the amenities were so clean. We really enjoyed the hot pool. However, there were two things with our stay I found less than favorable. The rooms were cleaned terribly late, which in turn made check in at 4pm (their posted time). I understand there is a staffing crisis however 4pm seems really late to do check in. Overall, I really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay at this location again!

Well what can I say nothing nice at all. We paid $250.00 for 1 nights stay nothing spectacular about the room and extremely dirty and very small. The room was not worth the money!! The view definitely wasnt of the mountains as on their website they said it was a breathtaking view. No it was a view of the courtyard and trees. The restaurant treated us better than the hotel. Congrats to Theresa at Keg for her excellent service. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Have stayed in cheaper hotels with better rooms and service.

Everything’s great. The Keg is in the lobby and had amazing food. The max height for parking is 6’4” so if you have a tall pickup truck you will need to park on the street.

This was a decent stay. Clean and comfortable. However, the gym and pool were much smaller than appeared in photos and the treadmill was out of order. The spa treatments were nice and the staff at the onsite Keg were efficient and friendly.

Our room was a couple of doors up from the pool. The chlorine was so strong our eyes were burning. We booked for 3 people and only had 2 sets of towels and had to ask for more. From the advertisement it looked like there would be a pool for swimming and one as a hot tub. The distinction should be made so expectations are not disappointed when there is no swimming pool.

Love the real wood fireplace in the lobby ! Love the restaurant on site in event you didn’t feel like walking or driving for a meal. Did not like the pop? Splashes on wall in room, unsure of was stained or just not cleaned (in few different areas of room) . Disliked that the mattress only had flat sheet as the bottom sheet, kept moving and exposing the mattress that you could tell was older (understandably) but unsure why it wasn’t fitted so it could stay on. Other than that we really enjoy our stay here always!

The Caribou is the run of the mill hotel in Banff. It’s ok. Everything worked fine. Don’t go the attached “Keg” if you want a nice meal out. Way too expensive and not the money it’s worth.
