“good all round”

very comfortable & clean + helpfull staff . We liked the location on the main avenue but far enough out to be quiet.

The hotel was very nice and clean. It's very cozy in the lobby of the hotel with a wood burning fireplace and seating area. The Keg restaurant is situated in the hotel near the lobby which is definitely an asset. Our server Helen was awesome. She was very nice and sincere. She even got to know us by names and brought me a piece of icecream cake for my birthday and quietly sang me happy birthday so I wouldn't get embarassed. The hotel was very quiet and never had any problems with noise near our rooms at all.

“noisy neighbors”

We were disturbed during the night by very noisy guests in the hallway and nearby room. The rooms could be more soundproof.

“caribou lodge and spa so relaxing after hiking all day”

Bed were soooo comfy and very quiet for sleeping at night. Great spa to relax at. Service great and the restaurant was delicious especially the breakfast. Great underground parking and friendly helpful staff.

“Nice Place”

Very nice hotel. Very comfortable. Our room was relatively small but comfortable. Very, very clean. Beds are extremely comfortable. Everyone friendly. Shuttle to downtown a plus, but one of the drivers was not very nice. I don't think the hotel has anything to do with the shuttle drivers, etc.

“really kindness hotel staff”

I lost my baggage in the airport. But the staff of Banff Caribou Lodge and Spa really could manage well and was very reliable. So I could find my baggage at last. The mood of hotel is so nice, and a location is also pretty good. You can walk 10 minites to the downtown, or You can use free shuttle just the right beside the hotel. I really recommand this hotel.

“very pleased”

Hotel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly with set up and any questions we had. Room was clean and comfortable. Didn't visit the hot tub or spa services, but they looked lovely. Offers shuttle bus tickets but we had a car. Restaurant was very good for dinner and breakfast.

“A Great Experience”

The Banff Caribou Lodge is conveniently located near downtown Banff. It has all the amenities of much higher-priced hotels--comforters and great beds, etc. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The dining room has excellence ambience as well as service and food. We would certainly go there again as well as recommend it to our friends.

“Quaint, great value”

Traveled as 2 adults with a 3 year old - we enjoyed our one night stay immensely! Room was smaller than we expected but still adequate, very clean and updated. We faced a courtyard, next time we would upgrade to a room with a balcony, it would be worth the extra cost. No real problems, had a buffet breakfast at the Keg (located in the hotel) in the morning and very delicious with reasonable rates (for the area). No A/C but wasn't surprised as it wasn't listed in the hotel amenities (and most area hotels in same price range don't offer it). Would stay again!

“Nice Place to Stay, but a bit hot in the summer”

The hotel is very nice in general, service is good, the mountain theme is great, has underground parking, huge hot tub, and having The Keg downstairs is convenient. It was early August, at night the room got very hot even with the two fans they left for us in the room; apparently there is air conditioning in the halls, so maybe if we have left the room door open would have cooled down more.
