“Lovely Swissotel”
I spent two nights in this hotel and really enjoyed the lush garden and the hotel in general. One reviewer wrote that it is outdated - yes the architecture and design is from the 80' but that gives this hotel a lot of charme. And the gardens are absolute wonderful. I can also recomend the thai massage.
“Cant wait to go back”
The hotel is near some great shopping malls and plazas small restaurants and the hotel staff is very helpful!
“the best hotel in Bangkok”
The swimming pool was really awesome! The room was quite old and classic but clean, and equipped wirh pleasent atmosphere. I'll try another type of room next time. Someone complains about difficulty of transportation, but it's not true. You can take a taxi in the lobby very easily.
“Great Garden and pool area!”
Great Hotel and garden pool area. Some rooms are outdated...so request a newly remodeled room at check-in. Rooms looking over the Garden and pool are the best. Best Hotel in Bangkok!
“Wonderful Pool Oasis”
This hotel met our family's needs in price (we got a good deal) and location(ten minute walk to skytrain or Central Dept. Store, five minutes to the water taxi). The pool and fitness facilities are exceptional and very welcoming after a day in Bangkok. There was a wedding every night but that didn't disturb us. We ate out--the concierge was helpful in finding restaurants but not particularly imaginative. An alternative to the hotel breakfast is the hotel's cafe/bakery just outside the main door.
“Very helpful staff during the stay, but before and after...”
we really had a good time there. during our stay, everybody was extremely helpful and gave us a lot of guidance. unfortunately, nobody answered on my pre-stay inquiry regarding the best way to get to th hotel from the airport. also, after our stay we had and still have some problems to get the hotel to send us some things we forget there. but overall a very good stay...
“Excellent hotel, excellent staff”
Choosing one of the "Executive Business" rates makes this hotel a great bargain. Breakfast, tea, and evening cocktails are included. My wife and I have twice stayed a week and use the above times for our meals except when we want to splurge. Unlimited internet access is also included. The staff is wonderfully attentive: they even remembered our morning beverage preferences upon our return a month after our initial visit!
“Stylish hotel with beautiful grounds, good service.”
Swissotel is my favourite chain, and this one is definitely an excellent choice for a holiday. The rooms are modern, stylish, clean and comfortable. What really sets it apart though is the large tropical garden where you can just relax for hours with a glass of coconut juice. 10 mins from Phloen Chit BTS, and fairly near Makkasan station when the new airport express train starts (better late than never!). Staff are very helpful with booking spas and restaurants in Bangkok (although the more popular places speak English).
