Welcome to Downing's Creek! This luxurious updated 2/2 mountain condo sleeps 4 in a fantastic location with a wood burning fireplace (bring your own wood!) also a resort pool, a hot tub, sauna and more. We are Less than a mile to Overlook Barn. Located at the top of Beech Mountain 5506 feet up you are in the perfect spot to enjoy great restaurants, relax on your balcony and take in the many views or enjoy an action packed time on the slopes, mountain biking, skiing/boarding, hiking & more!

Our check-in window is from 4pm to 9pm, and we regret to inform you that we are unable to facilitate check-ins outside of these hours.

Although we appreciate having access to the amenities at the Pinnacle Inn, we have no authority over their management. Closure and maintenance decisions are beyond our control. It's important to note that the Pinnacle Inn reserves the right to close the pool at any given time. We regret any inconvenience caused but we do not offer discounts in such cases. We appreciate your understanding.

We understand that our cleaning fees may seem high, unfortunately, they reflect the costs associated with providing our services in a rural area. We believe in being transparent about this matter because we acknowledge that the fees are on the higher side. However, we assure you that your stay will be clean and comfortable. We value our cleaners' loyalty and believe in compensating them fairly, as they play a crucial role in the success of our business.

*Please bring your own firewood and fire starter if you plan to use the fireplace. Wood is available at Fred’s General Mercantile, Lowe’s, Food Lion, and roadside vendors.*

Beech condo.
Great place and location. Will stay there again for sure. One suggestion, the entry instructions have a video how to work the lockbox, but you make entry via the door keypad. I would advise renters to use the keypad.

Great location in Beech. Unit is close to the pool and spa. Unit was redone well. Could have been cleaner, floor in living room & around couches hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Popcorn from previous tenant all on living room floor under chairs / couch. Pool / spa room is dated and heavily chlorinated. To be expect for a public space. Would recommend and would return, just not a 5/5 experience. Close though!!

Perfect Location
My family and I went up to Beech for a quick ski trip. It was actually our second time to stay here and it was great yet again. The space is warm and cozy and the beds are very comfortable. The kids love having their own TV in the extra bedroom and enjoyed having the pool just a quick walk away. Would recommend for anyone and would stay a third time!

The place was very clean. Great location. The dead bolt lock was different from the door handle lock and we were locked out at 10 PM for at least 3 hours until the police unlocked the door. No one at the office answered the phone. There should have been an emergency phone number.

Not the best experience
The unit simply was not clean. Dirty dishes were in the cabinets and not usable. Numerous lightbulbs were either not working or completely missing. Cable tv in the living room had been unplugged from HDMI ports; took a while to figure this out. Also, the Keurig coffee pot did not work. I would not recommend this unit and I would not stay here again.

This condo was perfect for our quick trip to Beech Mountain. Check in was easy, towels, bedding, dishes were all provided and clean. The wood burning fire place and the pool area were great additions as well. The only difficulty was finding the unit because the numbers are not clearly posted and the map was too blurry to be of any use. It was also extremely foggy when we arrived, so that made it even more difficult. Other than that, this place was perfect!

Spectacular Beech Mountain rental!
My family really enjoyed our stay at this property. Inside has been decorated beautifully. It has the perfect cozy cabin like feel. We had needed with the full kitchen, washer and dryer. Only 7 minutes from the slopes of Beech Mountain, made this the perfect location for us! Will definitely be coming back!

Perfect location!
This condo was great for a quick long weekend getaway for me and my family. We were all comfortable and there was plenty of space for the four of us. Our kids (8 & 6) had their own TV and definitely loved the pool. The location was a quick trip to parking for skiing and any of the local shops and restaurants. Would recommend it for anyone looking to explore Beech Mountain. Thanks for a great trip!

Girls' Trip
My best friends and I enjoyed out quick getaway to Banner Elk. After a fun ride on the Alpine Coaster and delicious lunch in town, we headed up the mountain to our lodging. The condo was exactly as pictured. We enjoyed beautiful mountain views and a visit from 3 deer on the property. We made a fire in the fireplace and decided it was so cozy we stayed in instead of going out for dinner. Great memories were made!
