Hotel was wonderful i speak italian (badly) and they were so helpful i am definately going back soon i go to italy looking for a move of house Stezzano is definately top of the list let me know if you can get me a job !!

“Ideal for Overnight stop”

This hotel was very adequate. Just the sort of place to relax into after a flight into Bergamo. Staff were generally helpful and it was well maintained with a nice breakfast in the morning. I would definately use it again if going into the Milan area

“Well designed Hotel”

Art & Hotel is a pretty new hotel, and it seems they have used a lot of attention to detail in it's design. Rooms are a good size, and bathrooms also roomy. Quiet location in a small town near Bergamo is good, though sometimes hard to find somewhere to get dinner - but the hotel restuarant is quite good and well priced. It was a little hard to find - would definately recommend the use of a GPS to find it! Overall a good experience.

“Bergamo's Boutique Hotel 1st Class”

I took a friend to Milan for her Xmas present, I'd never been to Milan before so was worried that the hotel might not come up to scratch. I soon found out that my worries were unfounded. The hotel has 24 hr check-in which was handy as the flight was diverted and we were very late. Check-in was simple and the staff spoke excellent English and were very welcomimg. The hotel is about 3kms outside Bergamo, which is a fabulous place to visit, better than Milan. The hotel room was clean,modern and air conditioned. Taxis are very expensive in this area but the local public transport is just around the corner from the hotel. Breakfast was a buffet style with masses of fresh coffee and a great selection of food.The hotel decor is fantastic.Theres a seperate area on the mezzanine with computers and internet connection, handy for checkin your flight details. A lot of attention to detail makes the reception and bar an interesting place to relax. Reasonably priced and lovely and quiet. We had a great time and will definately stay at the Art e Hotel again.

“Great hotel for the airport”

Found this purely by chance for an overnight stay before a flight back from Bergamo. Check in staff and the bar staff were all very good at speaking english and if travellers are in the bar before 9:30 pm then a grat selection of INEXPENSIVE local food is available for example where would you find a pizza for 3 Euros !! Breakfast is also great with a large selection of fresh produce and endless supply of good coffee. Will be looking to go back there again sometime to explore more of the area.

“Wonderful Hotel”

Arrived here after a flight from Scotland,what a lovely surprise,the Hotel is brand new and very modern.Rooms are fab and the reception and bar areas are also excellent.Reception staff very helpful and fluent in english,which was a bonus!Continental breakfast was also good with everything you would expect.Would definately go back with no hesitation.

“Convenient for the Airport - almost”

This is an extremely nice hotel within 10 minutes of Bergamo airport. As the name suggests it is theme'd on art and it is very unusual. We stayed because of the proximity to Bergamo airport and it is a bit isolated for general tourist use. Watch the traffic in the morning as 10 minutes from the airport becomes 1 hour in the morning traffic. My one 'gripe' was arriving at midnight and finding nowhere open to eat....in Italy!

“Art e Hotel - a Surprise!”

Lovely hotel, but surprised it was located near dual carriageway! However despite this, there was no noise to speak of and the hotel is as lovely as on the photos. Staff are nice and welcoming. The hotel offers shuttle service to and from Bergamo airport for 20 Euros for only 8-10mins drive and is pre-bookable with the hotel. The village of Stezzano is very quaint with many beautiful houses around and is a 20mins bus ride into Porta Nuova, Bergamo City where there are lovely sights, restaurants and great shopping! There is a local restaurant called De Michel which is 10mins walk from the hotel and is very much recommended!

“The hotel is fine but the transport awful”

The hotel is placed literally miles from all the touristy things in Bergamo. It is a pity as taxis are so expensive that it is simply not worth dropping your bags off at the hotel after arriving by rail or plane and then seeing the city. To get from the train station to the hotel it cost 17EUR and get this- to get a taxi to the airport they charged me from the moment the taxi left the town centre. In other words the taxi fare was already at 15EUR before I even got into the taxi and then another 15EUR to get to the airport. These costs can really add to the cost of staying in a cheap hotel. By the way it is not worth 4 stars. The arty design and service is great, but there wasn't any single factor that we could find to rate it the same as other 4*s that we have stayed at. I would not stay at this hotel again based on its location.
