Nice guy at the desk when I checked in. Room was spotless. Bed was comfy, although I never understand why hotels don’t give more than one flimsy blanket. There was a little cube sized fridge and microwave in the room. Room was nicely updated. A huge upgrade compared to the Rodeway that someone else had booked for me last week (yikes). Breakfast was basic, and if you have food allergies it’s probably not for you. I couldn’t eat anything there. Three white bread choices for the toaster (bread, bagels, something else), waffle maker, scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes (freezer style and reheated), biscuits and canned gravy. Juice cocktail (juice with sugar water), coffee.

Breakfast was good and included hot food, staff was friendly. Room was clean and had been upgraded since it is as older style motel. Only complaint is the front desk staff are a little undertrained;'But all in all very enjoyable.

The exterior of the property is outdated but, once you open the door to the room, you will be pleasantly surprised! It has nice flooring, comfortable beds and a good amount of space inside. We had four people in total and it didn’t feel cramped. The bathroom and fixtures were nice as well. Breakfast was good. We had eggs, potatoes, sausage and waffles. They also had cereal, toast, bagels and fruit. The only thing I would complain about is that you have to go outside and walk around the hotel to get to the front office or breakfast area, if your room is in the back. And the bath towels were a little rough on the skin but, maybe that can be expected in this type of hotel/small town feel. That’s why only gave them four stars.
