Habit-forming West Virginia Getaway
This is our second time staying at the host's property. I can say confidently that we'll be back again. Nestled in a serine valley, the property has amazing access to both nature and comfort-making amenities like a well equipped kitchen and spacious covered deck. This part of WV is known for exceptional biodiversity of mushrooms and fungi. Grab the field guide off the shelf, and go exploring. Access to grocery stores, climbing gyms, coffee, and commercial businesses are just 15 minutes down the interstate. The host is exceptionally accommodating, a great communicator, and seems like a genuinely nice guy that wants to be sure that you have a great experience.

A+ stay!
What can we say about this NEW Farmhouse VRBO? "Almost Heaven in West Virginia". The home is new, fresh and beautiful, and the outdoor space is especially magnificent. My husband and I spent most of our weekend getaway sitting on the covered back deck listening to the sound of the stream and gazing at the lush trees and occasional deer sightings. The kitchen was well equipped, which was great, because we didn't want to leave the house and ate every meal on the back deck. Chris our host was easy to communicate with and went out of his way to ensure that we had a fantastic time. This is a pretty remote area, but we had no problem finding the home with our GPS. Cooper's Rock State Forest and Cheat Lake are both an easy drive from the property. We loved our time and hope to return soon.

Beautiful nature escape
This new build is the perfect getaway to enjoy nature the way it is supposed to be enjoyed. The house is tucked away blanketed by trees. Full kitchen, plenty of space, and internet. Best part of the entire experience is sitting on the back porch, looking and listening to the creek. We spent all of our time at the house doing this. There were blankets, couches, and chairs. In the early mornings and after the sun went down there was a propane heater to keep us warm. The kids had so much fun exploring the creek and enjoying nature. The fire ring was between the house and the creek so we were able to keep an eye on our children (ages 6-11) without being on top of them. We saw several creatures including an orange newt and a woodpecker working his way up a tree. We sat by the fire and listened to bullfrogs. Communication was great before, during and after the stay. A video of how to get back to the house was provided, as this is one of the first homes in the remote location. It is in a gated community and very secure from people. We cooked every meal either in the kitchen or on the grill. We were able to do multiple loads of laundry. Excellent rental with excellent renters. We wanted for nothing and just got to relax. Thank you for making my wife's birthday special.

Peaceful and beautiful
We had an amazing time at this beautiful property. The house is spacious and comfortable inside and out. The highlight for us was the back porch and creek out back. Internet was reliable and the kitchen was great along with all of the furniture. We would definitely return and recommend it for anyone looking to spend time outside or in Morgantown, which was an easy drive from the house. Finally, Chris was a fantastic host who made sure our stay was comfortable!

Amazing house
This house was absolutely perfect for our family. The house itself was brand new and just beautiful inside. Even better was the location. To sit on the deck and watch the creek and listen to the water and sounds of nature - it was incredible and we were so sad to leave. Chris is very easy to communicate with and genuinely wants his guests to enjoy their stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Exceptional Property for Your Woodland Retreat
Thoughtfully presented, the Creekhouse is a great place for your business or family retreat. Private, but in easy reach of shopping centers, climbing gyms, and restaurants. Hikeable trails abound as well as curated outdoor space for deep relaxing. It is a beautiful, newly built property that's full of amenities. The owner responds clearly and promptly and was a gracious host. We're looking forward to a second visit later this year.
