"This was a very nice hotel. The included breakfast was full ing and tasty. The heavier curtains weren't quite as darkening as I would have liked, but the bed was very comfortable. The bus pass and discount at museums and the zoo was very helpful. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Basel."

"A perfect 10 hotel. Loved our room, staff was so friendly and helpful. Our luggage did not make the transfer in Frankfurt to Basel. Hotel staff did everything they could to help us. Close to old town and wonderful restaurants. "

It was exceptionally clean from the moment you walk into the lobby to the hotel room as well, and it’s nice there is 24 hour reception area. I will mention there are lots of shady people in the Basel train station area (nothing to do with this hotel) but it was sort of a surprise compared to the other cities we saw in Switzerland so please be aware. The rooms were clean and spacious, well-appointed and friendly appearing, in an ideal location. The amenities including a good fitness center, a sauna, a lovely restaurant, and an after-hours center for a drink or snack. What more could you want?"
