Buenos Aires, Argentina Hotel Rooms at the Independent

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The people were very sweet and accomodating. Very charming, clean, awesome showers,delious breakfast. Massage was incredible, hot tub and spa. The location was excellent; it's close to shopping,dining, subway, bus and easy to pick up a taxi. We'll be back and stay there again!

This is an older building that was converted into a hotel. You get what you pay for and I was delighted with this hotel. I was lucky that my room had a balcony.though sometimes in the early morning I could hear revelers departing the local bars and clubs. I had hot water but the faucet was a little tricky. The room came with a decent size refrigerator for my white wine, beer and cheeses... The breakfast was your typical Argentine fare. The front desk personnel were friendly and informative. It's also close to the metro and buses.

What a wonderful find in Tigre. Don't be put off by the front entrance; once you come through the hallway, you'll see a beautiful courtyard leading to the lofts. Miguel, the manager, took such good care of us! A local friend recommended restaurant Vivanco around the corner; also a great find with superb service. The hotel is directly across the street from an amusement park... easy landmark for the taxi. Would definitely stay here again!

Nearly everything in the hotel was excellent. Very clean and visitor freindly. One not so pleasant surprise for smokers: the hotel is labeled as non-smoking and, despite the fact that a smoking area has been advertised, none has been provided.

BA is a crazy city, this was our oasis! Huge bed, brilliant shower, very nice rooms honest and excellent staff(great recommdations) the bloke who serves the excellent free breakfast (cappuccinos!) is a gem! I would stay here every time I came to BA. The pool needed some attention when we stayed there but that may have been addressed by now.

Nice clean and modern room, great breakfast buffet included in the price. The hotel location is very good, across the street from the Abasto Shopping Mall, and a few minutes away from downtown BA by subway. The subway entrance is just a few steps away from the hotel. A few niceties include an in-room safe and wall outlets that take American-style plugs for appliances capable of using 220V (e.g., iPod or laptop chargers). Highly recommended.

Hotel Presidente is very centrally located, right in the heart of Avenida Nueva de Julio. It's in walking distance to Florida pedestrian mall and all other turist attractions. The rooms are large very clean and the bathroom was recently renovated. The aircon was OK but I was told that it is undergoing renovation as well. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel staff very responsive.

This was my second visit to Malabia House in the last year. I returned to Buenos Aires as much for the hotel and its congenial staff as for the city. There is a genuine caring for each guest and an artistic touch to every aspect of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is memorable. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great location in Buenos Aires and hotel with warmth and charm.

We stayed at San Telmo Luxury Suites for two nights at the beginning of February and found the hotel to be perfect for our needs. Our first direct contact with the hotel was a telephone call from our ship asking of they could arrange for a car to collect us at the port and this request was accommodated without any problem. It was very helpful that the staff answering the calls spoke good english. On arrival at the hotel we were given a warm welcome and some extremely useful information and maps on the city in general and on the local area in particular. It was very pleasing to find that the hotel, in all aspects, was as shown in the information provided in the Expedia website. This area of the city is the older part and the hotel is ideally located for the local colour and for access to other areas of interest around the city, some within reasonable walking distance and others by taxi.

We stayed at Kenton Palace last year and this year was even better. The rooms were very comfortable, except the pillows (in my opinion). Breakfast was very good. The cakes were delicious. What made our stay memorable, beyond any expectation, was the staff. Gustavo, Leonardo and Pablo went above and beyond, the extra mile, to accomodate and to help us. However all the staff was super friendly and very helpful. The human factor is just amazing at Kenton Palace. Please keep it going.

We really liked the hotel overall. It's very contemporary, hip. Beautiful public spaces. Nice bathrooms. The only complaint would be space. The rooms are tiny. We had a standard room so maybe the other rooms are a bit bigger. It is in the middle of restaurants and bars but we never heard the noise in our rooms. Don't forget that people are out until 6am partying in Buenos Aires!

My wife and I stayed in this Hotel/Apartment for 6 nights for our honyemoon. Not only where the staff the most helpful and courteous people, they did everything to make our stay in Argentina wonderful. From recommending restaurants and shows to helping us by storing luggage whilst we went to Mendoza for 4 nights. One of the best places we have stayed. Thank you very much to all the staff at Piedras Suites.

We had a wonderful experience at Terrazas de Uriarte apts. My husband, daughter and I stayed there for 1 week. We had a queen size bed and sofa bed with a trundle.Although, unlike a hotel, there was not someone at the desk at all times (we knew this ahead of time), anything we needed was taken care of quickly and efficiently. Example: we had a problem with 1 set of keys and they were replaced within minutes. We were also provided with sheets and plenty of towels for the week, an electrical adapter, free wifi, a full kitchen, appliances such as a hairdryer and most appreciated, a cell phone for our use (we put minutes on it for the week). The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The apt was very secure. We needed 2 keys to get in the building and 2 others to get in the room. We would definately stay here again.

Facilities are brand new, staff very kind, bar and restaurant are awesome and very good prices. Breakfast also very good. Also the SPA is so beautiful and relaxing, Place totally recommended to visit Buenos Aires. I loved it!

Our stay at the hotel was great. The rooms were spacious and classy in appearance. The beds were very comfortable. The location was great, being close enough to Palermo - 3 de Febrero Park and the zoo, planetarium, and of course the Hippodrome. The area around the hotel was safe, with a super mercado/market near by and pharmacy and assorted shops. And the staff was very helpful and friendly, all hours of the night and day. I would definitely recommend this place to others and look forward to our family using this hotel again.

Staff at front desk amazingly helpful in all aspects ie from planning itineraries most knowledgable, great recommendations regarding restaurants, very keen to make your stay enjoyable and seem very genuine about this. Restaurant and bar within the hotel an added bonus, one of the best meals during our 10 day say in BA
