Hi Anthony unfortunately we cant do much about dust on the property as it is out in the bush. The house had been cleaned afew days prior and the property manager gave it a check to be sure and was happy with the cleanliness of it. It wouldnt surprise me if theres a film of dust after afews days between the clean and you checking in, particularly the tables outside. Price is more reflective of the time of year, easter is a peak period and that is largely what you are paying extra for, to be there over the busiest time of year. You would find if you checked the rates at other times of the year it is alot cheaper.

Sorry to hear that you werent entirely happy with the house Kate. I am struggling to see what you mean that it requires a deep clean and tidy up to be honest as it had a spring clean and new carpets replaced a booking before yours which I overssaw. I personally went into the house after you departed and it is fine as I am aware. The mattress in the master bedroom is not even a year old, and I will have to check the other beds as this is news to me. Fortunately there are many other places in the area that you can try next time. :)

Hi Jessica we cant apologise enough regarding the mixup with the cleaning dates for the property. The cleaner misunderstood the arrival dates for your booking and thought you were arriving a day later, hence why the house wasnt cleaned, Once you made us aware of the situation she came out ASAP and attempted to remedy the situation. We supplied you with fresh chux and dishwasher tablets and a couple of bottles of wine for the inconvenience. When you notified us that the key would not unlock the front door we sent out a locksmith immediately who remedied the situation. We also make it very clear that there is a caretaker on the property to keep an eye on things. Again this was mix up with the arrival dates and left our cleaner very distressed that she had missed this. If you care to read through other reviews you will find that had the house been cleaned it would have been perfectly fine to stay. Again it was a mixup and and can happen to anyone especially with the chaos of christmas holidays.

Hi sally our caretaker is there to keep an eye on the property because of its isolation and the numerous things that may require fixing on a bush block. I do hope you enjoyed your stay in any case.
