Note that the park opens daily from morning until early evening. There is a fee to enter, with discounts for children. An additional fee is charged for bringing a video camera, while tripods are prohibited.
The Butterfly Park is beside the Taman Etnobotani, the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park and the Lake Gardens, in the heart of the city center. Ride a bus to a nearby stop or arrive at the Kuala Lumpur train station and walk northwest for less than 20 minutes to reach the park. Travel around the area to see nearby landmarks such as the Perdana Botanical Garden, the Planetarium Negara and the National Mosque of Malaysia.
