No running water

We had one day with no running water (no toilet , no showers) Our room smelled like pee... Horrible. The beds are uncomfortable - you only get two tiny pillows. And no a/c. The humidity is pretty bad at night - be prepared to stick to each other . The staff was nice and the bartenders were awesome. The food was mediocre at best . I would spend the extra couple dollars next time and go somewhere better.

Be-ware the hotel looks nothing like as shown!

Pros: The only thing that I liked about this hotel was the very kind woman named Susana M. That worked at the Real tour table. She was very helpful.
Cons: This hotel needs to have some serious upgrades. The pool cleaners were scrubbing the pool with a brush while people were swimming it was gross.
Location: The location was good. It's in the Hotel Zone Cancun. We spent as much time away from the hotel as possible.
Our experience was most horrible. Upon arrival when we checked in we were told there were no rooms available and to go have a drink and they would prepare a room for us. 2 hours later taken to a room that was unbelievably dirty. We had requested 1 bed we were taken to a room with 2 double beds. We were taken back downstairs after we declined to stay in the room. The bellhop was frustrated and irritable. While waiting we chatted with a couple preparing to leave they told us of their stay the bugs that they found within their room & that they were never so excited to leave from a vacation to go home. Upon arrival we were informed there was no A/C. (Mexico with no A/C?) We were told that the ac had not worked for 3 years. We were also told that the ac was only out for 12 hours. After talking with other guests we realized that each room there has a fan in it! Sounds like it would be hard to provide a fan to hundreds of rooms if the ac was only out for 12 hours. The staff were very rude and laughing at us while were on the phone with Expedia trying to find another hotel to stay at as I have asthma and it was muggy and difficult for me to breathe in the midst of my panic attack from being sent to a place such as the Bellevue. Our first night there in Little Italy restaurant the waiter stomped on a Cockroach and picked it up and flung it out the door. I am most mortified. We had to have an exterminator come to our room to clean the tiny bugs that took over our sink. Don't Go!!

Cons: Tener refrigeracion y pintura
Me gusto mucho la atencion en general de todos, solo recomiendo poner mas cuidado al mantenimiento de las instalaciones del hotel para que no decaiga, ya que esta muy bonito pero algunas partes les falta cuidados de pintura

Great, Relaxing Vacation!

Good location (only 15 minutes from Cancun airport and hotel is located on nice beach). Great service and friendly staff. The food was fine, some variety but nothing special. AC wasn't working throughout hotel, but we were pretty comfortable. We live in Minnesota and certainly weren't going to complain about it being "warm". Yes, the hotel could use some updating, but it was clean. My wife and I were there to celebrate her 40th birthday. She wanted a nice, relaxing vacation with zero stress and great service. That's exactly what we got.

Cheap and Warm

Pros: The staff
Cons: overall condition. it needs to be cleaned up and restored.
Location: i did not venture out anywhere this time.
Just like everyone else, the AC is not working and so I requested a balcony room which they gave to me. I cannot comment on the food because I did not eat it. Cesar in the lobby bar was so nice and no one hardly tipped him. These guys depend on tips and to see no one tipping him was disappointing.

Cons: Demolish and build new
Location: Beach was ok
Food was horrible, Internet was not free, smelled like mold, no hot water. Elevator barely worked

Not at all what the pictures made it out to be

When we showed up we were in shock due to not looking anything like the pictures showed. We had no A/C, fridge didn't work, the rooms were different than what we originally were showed we were getting. We never got the promised honeymoon package, the servers and bartenders were great! All and all it was very disappointing, the resort in person looks nothing like online. The beach chairs were broken, and the hot tub was cold! It is a cheap resort because it is very ran down. The elevators didn't work 3 days & the food was awful. We thought it was a beautiful resort but once we showed up it was not very pretty at all.

I was very disappointed in my stay at the Belluvue. The air condition didn't work the whole time we were there the room wasn't that clean
