Upon check in, they didn’t have a room available with a king bed, which I had booked. They had to put us in a room with 2 queen beds, and then we had to switch the next day to a room with a king bed. Didn’t have very many food choices, restaurants didn’t have that great of tasting good. Ended up getting sick for a couple days from either the food, or water. Definitely don’t recommend if you have food allergies, as they didn’t accommodate food allergies very well. The staff wasn’t as friendly as they could have been, and rarely did staff come to the pool to collect drink orders. You had to get out of the pool, and go up to the bar to get your drinks. The resort offered water volleyball, but only offered it in 2 half hour sessions throughout the day. Wished they would have left the net up everyday, since so many people wanted to play. There also wasn’t very much entertainment options at the resort. Almost all of the Riu parties took place at another Riu resort. Overall not very impressed, and wouldn’t recommend!
