This was a great little hotel! Very clean and cute. The staff was super nice and helpful. There is a park along the river that you can easily walk to, and there are many restaurants and shops within walking distance!

It was clean and organized. The bed mattress was not good dipped where you lay and any movement of other person you felt on other side of king bed. We always stay here. The hotel is in a great location, the rooms with a balcony have good views of the lake. Rooms are very clean and the staff very friendly.

Beautiful looking little hotel. A little disruptive being woken up every morning by the train going by between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM, but otherwise a very nice place to stay.

The train honking by in the middle of the night is the first poor thing going for this less than prestigious prestige option. Stay at the lakeside one.... Unless it's the budget option you really are looking for!

The property was good with a great view. Unfortunately the parking situation is challenging. And noise from the early morning train and loud neighbours made for a difficult sleep.

Worked well for our purpose (a place to walk to after the hockey game). There is a train that goes by in the night and it’s very loud. One of my kids managed to slept through it. There were also people yelling outside our patio door at 3am but not the fault of the hotel.

The place was clean and for the price that’s all a person could ask for. Close enough to walk to eat dinner and catch a movie! Nelson is an amazing place to be, even in the quiet months of winter. We didn’t spend much time in our room with a 20 min drive to Whitewater.

The lobby was nice, but the hotel goes down hill from there. It is worn and tired looking, lots of dings, scratches, mirrors off kilter, miss matched pieces, carpet etc, missing wallpaper, worn furniture, dark colours, but at least the room had one chair! Clean? Well not clean, clean, but not dirty. Bed and bedding seem ok. We were just in for the night and thought we would give it a try.
