Holiday Visit to CharlestonPosted Jan 10, 2014
Did a quick side trip to Charleston and decided to stay at the hotel due to it's association with Wyndam. From the initial moment at the check in, to the maids cart parked outside my door for the entire evening, to the smell of the room, it was disappointing. I would not go back.

Needs a good cleaningPosted Dec 31, 2013
Pros: Staff was nice and main lobby pleasant
Cons: Very dirty and needs renovation
Location: Near mall
Clerk was nice and main area looked promising. Rooms are not accessible for anyone with difficulties as the second story rooms are reached through outdoor stairwells. Room was large but VERY worn. Looked like a college party place. Beat up, dirty furniture, worn fixtures, and the grossest stained carpet I've ever seen in a "hotel." Really well below standard for this brand of hotel. Needs total renovation.

Filthy roomPosted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
The carpet and bed linen were disguisting. I would never recommend this hotel to any one. This is a terrible motel not at three star quality at all. Do yourself a favor and do not book a night at this motel.

The breakfast was not good, but other than that I loved this place.

My stay was ok. The thing that was very very misleading was saying they were pet friendly. I was able to keep my dog there but the rate was $100 it was almost as much for my pet as it was for me and my wife.

Weekly and Monthly RentalsPosted Oct 21, 2013
Rooms were noisy and most of the people stayin at the hotel were weekly and monthly rentals! If stayin long term maybe a good choice, but not for a couple of evenings.

Pros: Comfortable bed. Has kitchen. Large room. Comfortable forced air heating and air conditioning. Serve hot breakfast every day.
Cons: TV is analog therefore fuzzy and noisy. Because it's an extended stay, housekeeping was poor and rug was full of stains from families and pets.
Location: Hotel has easy access to freeway. About 11 miles on the freeway to downtown Charleston which has a lot of tourist things.

Good stayPosted Oct 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed the stay. First room smelled of smoke and had a large dead bug in the floor. Second room we were moved to was much better.

Not bad if you get it for a good pricePosted Oct 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall the hotel was decent, but there were a few things that bothered me. The hotel is located behind another building, so it was hard to find at first. The road into the hotel is tight, narrow and awkward, especially if cars are trying to back out while you're driving through. The room was decent, but the carpet was FILTHY! That was a huge turnoff and I found it odd that there were no towel racks. On the bright side, the staff was very friendly and the hot breakfast was a great value. The location is also great, next to tons of restaurants, the freeway and walking distance from the mall.
